So, it's early Sunday evening in Paris. We have walked all day, and just want a beer, a wine and something to eat. Most places are closed, some won't open 'til late. THEN we come across the Cafe Aero!! Just like a proper bar, they serve large beers, good wine, even a tasty slice of pizza comes to the bar....

We had been to the Musée Marmottan and decided to have an early-ish lunch since it was raining quite heavily. We were found a table outside under the canopies which were heated (and this was necessary even though it was only mid-September). I had the Spritz Royal which was served, much to my amusement, with a wedge of orange as...

Stayed at the Hotel Aero July 2015. Found it on trip advisor and must admit I was shocked at how wonderful this place was. Having never been to Paris, I was nervous about all of the different areas to stay. This place is just perfect. Out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk everywhere. Exceptionally clean. Very...

Stayed here recently for a weekend break in Paris. Lovely hotel, in a great location, 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and 4 mins from the nearest Metro. Rooms aren't the biggest but that seems to be common in Paris. Very friendly staff. It's connected to a bar/cafe which is always really busy, a very popular spot. The food...

The aero hotel is a small modern hotel situated above a lively bar and restaurant on the rue de passey. It is a great location situated about 10 minutes walk from Trocadero or 15 minutes from the base of the Eiffel Tower. The surrounding streets are filled with boutiques and cafes. Plenty of window shopping and two places to note...

Stayed for one night at the Hotel Aero end March 2015. I picked the hotel because they have a 'special rate' for visitors attending meetings at the (nearby) OECD headquarters. Accommodation in Paris is not cheap, rooms are never really big. But I felt that I got good value for the money I paid (around 150 euro for a single...

Have stayed in the Aero a couple of times, very well located with two metro stations close by and the RER Station Boulanvilliers a couple of mins away so easy enough access from CDG airport. Stayed in a room on the street so was woken early in the morning. request an inside room if possible. 10 minute walk to the...

Stayed here on a business trip to OECD and stayed over to enjoy Paris for the weekend. Perfect location and good value! Clearly it has been renovated recently and it was well done. We realllly like the tiled bath and the decor of the room. The double room had enough space, drawers, closet and sitting area for us. A really...

Great location for this boutique-ish hotel, nicely furnished, and friendly. The deluxe room was quiet, comfortable and roomy. It was the little annoyances that brought this rating down, especially as they are simple to chnage, things like no soap dish or tissues; and an auto lighting system with too long a timer and no off-button--a bit of a surprise when...

In a market street in Paris, I was using the hotel for a business trip to OECD. The staff were polite and helpful however the room was a little small as a double. Ambient noise from the street below was high and difficult to sleep of an evening despite a comfortable bed. Cost per night was €150 with no breakfast...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
