As for practically every hotel review I've ever read, the ones for this hotel were mixed but we found the Audran to be fine. The price was reasonable for Paris and the location is excellent. Some of the interior looks warn but the beds were clean and comfortable, the shower room small but adequate. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at...

We have just returned from 5 nights in the Audran. Perfect!!! Clean towels every day, bathroom HUGE!!! by Paris standards(shower in a proper cubicle with really hot water constantly) staff were courteous and friendly and the location for walking in the Montmartre area is excellent!!! If you are an "Amelie" fan like we are,you can walk to "Cafe au deux moulins"on...

I almost did! and I would've missed out on a clean and comfortable hotel in a great area run by friendly staff (This IS Paris so that's rare in itself!) My boyfriend and I traipsed around many of the hotels in Montmartre and this hotel won hands down for its clean comfortable room and price! Staying there in Feb 2012...

Hotel Audran is, as mentioned by many others, in a good location in Montmarte, near the sights as well as many cafes and metro stations. The double room we were in was comfortable, warm (we were there in February) and sizeable for a European hotel room. We were only there for a weekend so didn't have much luggage, but it...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel in mid-December. Could not really complain too much about it. Location was good - in Montmartre. Did have to get two subway trains from Gare du Nord but if you don't mind changing with bags, its no problem. Montmartre is obviously hilly so be prepared to walk up hills with bags. We...

Hotel Audran is right in the heart of Montmartre, as many have mentioned, a stone's throw from Sacre Cour and the Moulin Rouge. The room itself is comfortable, and reasonably good value for the money you're paying. The sounds do come in from the street especially if you're facing the street, but keeping the windows shut worked wonders for us....

The single room I got was really small: there was just enough place to go round the bed. Well, I came to Paris to walk in the streets, not in my room, so it was OK. By the way, if you prefer using local transport to walking down from Montmartre (or, better, climbing up on the hill on your way...

This hotel is in a great location, just 2 minute walk from the Moulin rouge and about a 10 minute walk to the Sacre de Cour. The room was clean and of a decent size and had a wall mounted LCD TV. The bathroom was of good size and the shower was good with no issues of hot water. The...

stayed here for a three night break, excellent location beside all the shops, bars and around the corner from the moulin rouge. When asking directions ask for rue abesses as rue audran isnt on a map. Its beside a metro station, the room had a very comfy, clean bed and bathroom was clean, towels changed every day. It isnt the...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Perhaps phone the hotel for the price before booking through Trip Advisor, Booking.com etc. I stayed an extra night but was charged 66% of the room price compared to my initial 2 night booking. It made me think that online bookings don't actually get you the best price.”
