We booked our first ever stay in Paris at this property and everything from calling with questions to the stay to checking out was perfect! Their customer service is EXCELLENT!!! The staff were all very helpful and spoke great English as well!
The moment our Uber pulled up at the front door, two door staff dressed perfectly, started removing our luggage and another staff member met us at the door to walk us to the check-in counter. Emma, the lady who checked us in was flawless at checking us in! I’ve never experienced such a thorough check-in process, which included describing amenities, the property, welcoming me and acknowledging my status, and then actually taking us up the elevator and to our room to ensure we were happy with the room – This was OUTSTANDING service!!!
The concierge staff is friendly and was very helpful during our stay, providing great suggestions for food and handling other questions we had, such as how to best handle the train we needed to take, etc.
The location of this hotel is perfectly walkable and is an equal distance to the Eiffel Tower or the L'arc de Triomphe. It’s a block from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. We only needed to use Uber to get to an area a few miles away, but otherwise, we walked everywhere.
The room was very comfortable, perfectly adorned and nicely embellished with great attention to detail… including the mosaic tile in the bathroom! Everything was clean and spotless and stayed that way throughout our stay with housekeeping taking care of it daily and offering turndown service.
Such an excellent stay was had here, we will definitely stay here when returning to Paris!!

We are frequent travelers seeking unique experiences across the globe. This past week Amy and I had the pleasure of staying at this fine hotel. If you are interested in service, location, comfortable beds, great restaurants, and amazing staff then this is a hotel you must visit.
Although this was our first visit each and every staff member we came across was amazing, focused on customer service and truly in tie rested in the guest.
In today’s world of cooking cutter hotels the physical structure in itself is unique and beautiful, but it is the staff that set this stay apart.
Our check in was warm and welcoming where Yanus at the first desk not only processed our arrival but gave us a tour of the property stopping to explain some of the finer details and history. He introduced us to the hostess at the restaurants which feature two different concepts both of which we tried and were excellent.
Our room was comfortable and provided room to live which is importance as we are in the end of a 6 week tour of France.
I also wanted to commend housekeeping, each day they worked behind the scenes to refresh and renew our Pom so it was picture perfect upon our return from busy days of sightseeing. Our slippers were laid out on towels next to the bed and the bathrooms were impeccably done. On the last full day I was a bit under the weather and slept in most of the day, housekeeping noted this and when we left for dinner that night they came in and completely cleaned the room even though it was well beyond normal working hours. We returned firm dinner to find a sparking clean room with no trace that I had had such a touch day. Its touches like this that you simply can’t duplicate without having managment, staff and the entire team dedicated to customer service.
This was as I said our first stay but will not be our last at this fine property.

Absolutely everything about our stay at Prince De Galle was extraordinary. We arrived from US to attend Roland Garros a few hours earlier than check in . Our room was ready and the hospitality extended was excellent. We were escorted to our room and shown all spectacular amenities as well as provided with a lovely bucket of ice and complementary refreshments, courtesy of the manager. The room was beautiful, spacious and supremely relaxing. My daughter appreciated the soaking tub and I loved the mosaic lined rain head shower and hand held nozzle. The amenities were plentiful and luxurious. We attended long days of tennis and returned to the room often cold and wet from the rainy week of weather. We ordered room service several nights as a result and found the food to be superb. A morning flower bedecked breakfast buffet included wonderful croissants, brioche, selections of vegetables and cold cuts as well as cheese and delectable butter. The cooked to order selections were also amazing. The concierge services were particularly impressive. Our Louvre tickets and transportation were seamlessly arranged and Mr Poret provided above and beyond help and Friendly conversation. I would highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a luxurious stay in Paris.

Before getting into the specifics of the hotel itself, I need to give a major shout-out to the front desk staff. Shortly after my husband and I arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport to return to the US, we realized that he had left his passport in the hotel safe in our room. We called the hotel in a total panic, but they totally had our backs! The front desk arranged for someone to go to the room we had just checked out of, retrieve my husband's passport from the safe, then they put it in a taxi and told the driver to take it to the airport to meet us. Oh, and they gave us the cab driver's name and phone number, and gave him ours as well. Forty minutes later, we had the passport in hand and what could have been a disaster instead became an awesome experience. Merci, merci, merci!!
As far as the hotel itself, the rooms and amenities were as lovely as the service was impeccable. Upon check-in, we were treated to a tour and brief history of the 100 year old art deco hotel, and also introduced to the hostess staff at the restaurants. We had the pleasure of dining at both restaurants. Restaurant Bar 19.20 by Norbert Tarayre featured modern takes on classic French cuisine, prepared by the winner of Top Chef France. Akira Back offered fabulous Japanese cuisine and sushi. We also did room service for breakfast once or twice, and each time our meal arrived promptly and perfectly prepared.
As I mentioned, can't say enough good things about the staff - from front desk, to helpful concierge, to restaurant hostesses and wait staff, to housekeeping - who always seemed to know exactly when we were out of the room long enough for it to be serviced. We never came back to an unkempt space!
The location in the 8th arrondissement can't be beat, love being able to walk to the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees. All this and Marriott Bonvoy points, too! If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would. Can't wait to come back.

My husband and I just returned home from five nights at the Prince de Galles. I booked on points and used suite nights to upgrade to a king room with a balcony. The point value for the hotel is excellent, and we were treated no differently than if we had paid full price for our stay. Every employee we encountered was friendly, accommodating and efficient. They all spoke very good English, and were all patient with my very poor attempts at French!
While our room wasn’t ready until an hour and a half past check in time, that was the only glitch during our time there. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine and ordered a delicious lunch on their beautiful patio. The room assigned to us was worth the wait – a very nice king room on the top floor with a large balcony and a beautifully appointed bathroom with a tub, gorgeous tiled shower, and plenty of storage for our toiletries. We had planned on having a picnic one day in a park, but we changed plans and instead brought cheese, baguettes, fruits, vegetables & nuts, desserts and wine back to the room so we could enjoy it all on our lovely balcony. We also sat out there a couple of times in the evening with a glass of wine.
Breakfast each morning was included with our titanium status, and it was spectacular. In addition to the generous variety of pastries, fruit, meats, cereals, teacakes and juices at the buffet, we could order hot food off the menu. Their scrambled eggs are quite possibly the best we’ve ever had! The staff at breakfast was amazing, and we looked forward to seeing them each morning, almost as much as we looked forward to the wonderful food! They greeted us warmly and remembered our coffee and tea preferences by the second day.
We like to walk and the hotel is well situated for most of the places we went. When we needed a taxi to go longer distances, the valets out front were quick to hail one for us. Housekeeping worked like magic – we almost never saw them, and yet our room was always cleaned and re-stocked when we returned from breakfast, and turned down in the evenings when we came back from dinner.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here on our next trip to Paris and have no reservations recommending this gorgeous hotel to anyone traveling to this beautiful city!

The team at the Prince de Galles in Paris provided my husband and I with a spectacular experience during our 8 night stay in November 2022. Staying in this property may have ruined all future hotel stays for us. As a couple who travels quite a bit, we could tell the bar here is set to, and maintained at, a very high level.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were promptly greeted with a big smile by Lauriane Villate. Laurine has a warth about her that is noticeable before she even speaks. We came to find out she works in the main office and she is only at the hotel lobby for one hour each week. We feel so lucky to have arrived during that hour. Lauriane walked us to the front desk and when she was notified our room was not ready, she accompanied us to the bar for a glass of complimentary champagne. We did not want her to leave us so we stole as much of her time as we could before she had to go back to her duties.
Lauriane left us in the great hands of Paulo, our server at the hotel bar. Paulo is a refined, friendly and poised long time hotel employee whom we quickly got to know as well. We discovered that after 40+ years at Prince de Galles, Paulo was set to retire in a few weeks... I am certain he will be equally missed by the hotel guests and employees alike. Paulo, if you get to read this, enjoy your retirement to the fullest, wishing you many-many games of tennis.
When our room was ready, we were so pleased to have the fantastic Ellis Gutierrez escort us to our room. I had emailed the hotel prior to our arrival and had mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. When we entered our room (which she had upgraded for us) we were so surprised by seeing our photo in a frame that the staff had planned for us along with a delicious dessert and champagne. Ellis Gutierrez and her team's sweet gestures were really touching, what a lovely way to start our magical time in Paris.
We enjoyed dinner at Akira Black, the hotel's restaurant, the first night we were there. The food is scrumptious, the decor is classy and the service we received from Yosesein was flawless.
Our stay was during the Thanksgiving Holiday. The staff, knowing we are Americans, had a treat and note for us in our room on Thanksgiving day, so thoughtful.
The housekeeping is meticulous and the room service my husband ordered one evening was very yummy. We never made to breakfast... I blame the amazing bed partially as we never wanted to wake up early enough for it. :)
During our extended stay, we encountered only the best, from the guest relations team prior to our arrival to the lovely front desk team including Rayan, Matthiew and all the others. The bellmen are also very polite and friendly.
The hotel's location is excellent, so close to luxury shops, restaurants, transportation and a very short walk to the Eiffel Tower or to the Arc de Triomphe.
Greatness is a collection of smaller gestures. This is shown in everything the staff at this hotel does. Congratulations to management for putting and keeping together such a strong team.

Hotel is nice until you get accused of staining the carpet when you did nothing wrong. 3 days into our stay, we get a lovely hand written post card accusing us of staining the carpet for a stain that was already present when we got to the room. Management was very unwilling to accept our side and ended charging $750 for carpet cleaning. The hotels quality control is sub-par if they allow to give a room that has a stained carpet and the worst part is accusing a guest of the damage when we did not do. This hotel should get ZERO STARS for this type of experience. Will never ever stay in this hotel and I recommend that if you do end up staying here, make sure you identify any room damage and bring it to the management attention so they don't end up accusing you of damage and then make you pay for it.

This hotel was beautiful, as part of the Marriott family Prince de Galles is most definitely a 5 star hotel with 5 star service. The concierge contacted us months in advance of our arrival to offer their services, they arranged our pick up at the airport which was outstanding, they made our dining reservations which were really good recommendations. The hotel was super clean beautiful comfortable rooms. The hotel is located right next to to The Four Seasons. The location is prime for shopping and tourism. Everyone from the doorman to the managers were just great people! We loved it so much we are going back in January.

This was our second visit to this hotel! The shining star is the staff here. They are always helpful and they go out of their way to make your visit special! The entire team at breakfast from hostess to the servers are incredible! Rooms are clean, albeit bit small but that Paris for you. Its art deco style so they tend to be a little dark but can use more lights/better brighter lamps. Also not enough drinking water is provided in the rooms as bottles too small. Other than that, no issues. All around great location and staff! Highly recommend!

Beautiful property, centrally located around a lot of activities. We were between this property and Four Seasons which is next door. We ended up choosing Prince De Galles since the rooms look more spacious and the price was a couple of grand less. The kind bed in the room. Was amazing and large. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. I didn't get any names, but the concierge and front desk and even door men. Our room was always cleaned twice and little touches added throughout our stay. I highly recommend this 5 star property.
