We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! The rooms are small but elegant and very clean. The hotel is in a great location...easy access to the Metro, cafes and shopping. The staff was delightful and more than willing to see to our every need. We will definitely stay here again!!

Dont go there if you want big traditional rooms or feng-shui style. Go there if you want to have a unique hotel experience in the nicest hood in Paris. The service is great and we experienced that the staff wanted us to have the best stay ever. Furthermore we noticed a lot of small but nice details such as "Hotel...

Quaint boutique hotel in the heart of the Marais district and walking distance to all of the popular spots. 10/10 for location 6/10 for noise (if your room faces the street) ------------ 8/10

If you fancy a romantic trip to Paris and want somewhere to stay, this place is great. The rooms have the feeling of a 19th c Brothel but in a good way. Low, sexy lighting, lot's of red and gold and attention to detail in the styling. The rooms are typical of the area in that they are quite small...

The location was perfect - a narrow street, in the heart of the Marais district, with shops and restaurants very close by and walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The hotel itself is understated elegance and with helpful unobtrusive staff. My room at the back looking onto the courtyard was small but extremely quiet and the bed was...

Eclectic, interesting decor. Definitely feels like a boutique hotel. Understated elegance. My husband wasn't so happy with the shower, but he spent more time on the balcony and loved that. If you're sensitive to noise (even on a Tuesday night, it was loud!) then best to request a room that doesn't face the street. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Steps...

My husband and I booked into this charming hotel for 5 nights following a hectic business trip. Having stayed in Paris previously we were aware of the space limitations in Paris hotels this is why We decided to book a delux room ( only approx 20 euro more ). Having just checked out of the busy bustling Concord La Fayette...

This place could work for you if you're mid 20's and on a weekend trip. For business though, or for any more than one night, it's a really unpleasant place to stay in such a beautiful city. Rooms are so small you have to walk sideways and sleep with your suitcase. And so dark, even with the hopeless lights on...

This is a beautifully designed hotel in a wonderful spot in the Marais, and the people there could not have been more friendly and helpful. The two drawbacks are (1) the rooms really are tiny and (2) there is a bar on the street and although it is a small backstreet, there is real noise on the street at night...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
