The hotel room was clean and very sunny (Room 714) and had two small balcony areas overlooking the roof tops of Paris. The reception and bell staff where friendly and professional and very helpful. The dining room is something quite special with its stained glass...More
The location of the hotel is perfect, close to metro stop "Madeleine". Hotel has because of it's heritage, a classic decor especially visible in the dinning room! You can choose between the "Parisien" breakfast 13 euro or the breakfast buffet for 21 euro. The staff...More
Not the first time in this hotel. I find it very convenient for short stays in Paris. Very centrally located, great staff, clean, excellent breakfast. Good size rooms. Very discrete yet elegant.
I recommend it and will go again.

It is probably a good 45 minute walk from the Hotel Bedford to the Eiffel Tower (going from the Eastern part of the 8th Arrondissement on the Right Bank to the 7th Arrondissement on the Left Bank.) There is a Metro stop just around the corner from the Place Madeleine and I'm certain a Metro stop is quite close to the Eiffel Tower. Also, the touring buses that take you throughout the city and let you get on and off where you wish have a stop on the street in front of the Madeleine (the church). The hotel can tell you where.
