Before I begin, even if you dont opt to stay at the Raphaël (and they've got good deals, great location and big rooms) at least get to their red velvet bar. It's an institution especially on a chilly Parisian day. Better than a bubble bath you will be carried away to the way things used to be. Ive been going...

After a lot of looking around on the internet, we picked the Raphael and were glad we did. First, the rooms are old world big: nice sitting area, bedroom with drape, walk in closet that is bigger than my one at home, full bathroom with lots of hot water. The rates are reasonable for the accomodations. The staff is professional...

Just a short walk to L'arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées. Great staff. Simply lovely rooms. Impeccable housekeeping. Truly french decor. Super helpful concierge staff. We know a Paris native who agrees with us...that this is one of the most perfect hotels in all of Paris. Rates are not egregious either. Well worth every Euro. We will return again and...

As we were there for business we didn't have time to try the breakfasts or the bar. The room was 'Old World' and very clean but a little tired. The bathroom amenities were good. The location is outstanding. The service in as much as we used the facility was solid.

The location is great. Hotel has its original décor from the early 20th century, you can tell it was once amazing. Good concierge team and reception. Unfortunately they repeatedly had trouble getting our morning coffee order correct. The roof top terrace had perfect views. The room was light and airy with large windows. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff...

We stayed here a few years ago and were very excited to come back. Unfortunately, the room and the facility has not really changed that much and, for the money, is in need of a visible refurbish. Dont get me wrong - concierge was terrific and very helpful, location cannot be beat, but the rooms are in need of upgrading...

You know you are in a nice hotel when there is an original Turner in the lobby. This is one of my favorite hotels in the world. Classic Parisian elegance. Classic wrought elevator - yes! Workout room with herringbone parquet flooring - yes! Traditional French windows - yes! fabulous concierge - yes! You will feel like a French aristocrat when...

The room and service both at the desk, bar and room service was excellent. It is across the street from the Peninsula so the location is great. They also have a rooftop terrace with the same view as the Peninsula.
