This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Location is perfect, a pleasant 10 minute walk to the Louvre. Also reasonably close to Gare du Nord. Rooms are older but still comfortable. Good size bathroom and the double beds are very comfortable. Reception have always been friendly and communicate perfectly in English. Breakfast was 15 euro and...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
