Stayed here for one night: it's located in a covered arcade & is an old building with multiple flights of stairs (there is a small lift, typically for Paris hotels). Spacious room, efficient front desk. Would have liked proper espresso for breakfast... though that's increasingly rare in Paris it seems!

Spent two nights at the Chopin - our second visit here - for a few days exploring Paris. The Chopin is very quaint and absolutely charming. Our room was fresh, light and airy and beautifully decorated. All of the staff were helpful and informative. We picked up a few maps and leaflets in the hotel which saved us some Euros...

Hotel Chopin is our favorit hotel in Paris and we have stayed there several times. The rooms are redecorated and beautiful. The area is great and we live to walk to the Marais and shop. There were lots of new shops.

The hotel is in an excellent location and central to all things Paris including small boutiques and cafes. They have a great maid service and staff. The rooms are very small so the hotel may not be suitable for everyone.

If you want a typical French hotel, Hotel Chopin it is. Well located in a small arcade. The rooms are small but very comfortable. They also serve the breakfast (buffet style) and I couldn't resist a fresh croissant with a 'café au lait'. Humm... Worth a stay...

Another excellent stay of 2 nights in this outstanding Hotel which is located close to Opera and Louvre. The room was clean, fourth floor, with amazing view of the roofs in Paris. A very nice breakfast and the usual kindness and efficiency of hothel personnel made us feeling at home.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
