Came to Paris on a Eurostar included short break (4 nights) with my elderly mum.
Taxi from gare du nord to hotel which even the taxi driver couldn't find .... the entrance is down an alley which later is found to be very quaint.
I stayed in this hotel in July 2017 for a business trip. It was so awful that I changed my plans to leave early.

This hotel is very conveniently located right on the Big Bus blue route. Easy to start your day exploring Paris with Big Bus hop on- hop off service. The hotel manager has been extremely helpful with directions and also excellent recommendations for dining.

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

You should be able to book a room with multiple beds or, failing that, make a request in the booking for an extra bed in the room and why you need it. From experience, they will probably do it for you.
