This hotel is just great. In a quiet street , between Gare du Nord and Opera , it looks well and cosy from the outside and once inside you are not disappointed. Anyone at reception is really friendly and helpful , the spacious and well-appointed lobby and bar area is all you need to prepare your day through Paris. The...

For less than £50, I got what is otherwise considered a fairly large room for Paris. The staff on duty was quite helpful in allowing me to check in early. The safe was small and key-operated but it was alright for storing jewelry and wallets. The closest metro was not so far although you need to walk if you want...

We really enjoyed our stay at Residence Du Pre in Paris. A very nice, cosy and clean hotel with sweet and welcoming staff. The location was great and it was very easy, to get from the hotel with metro to centrum and to find good restaurants and bistros nearby. Only minus was the very thin walls.

We stayed for two nights (June 29 & 30). The location was about a five-minute walk from Gare du Nord station so ideal for Eurostar arrivals. Reception staff were very helpful. They helped us print out flight boarding passes, they were very efficient and friendly on arrival and checkout. The room and the bathroom were a good size, quiet and...

We went on a 5 day trip to Paris and couldn't be more pleased. I wasn't expecting much for the price we paid and my expectations were very low. Upon our arrival the receptionist was incredibly nice. The room was clean, spacious and warm. Bathroom was completely renewed and also clean. The hotel was at a great location and they...

First time to Paris and adventure via public metro to hotel, took about 1hour and half figuring out the way and Google map, we arrived and still manageable. Cost us €20 for 2pax, understand from information at the airport it's about €40 by taxi. We selected the Twin Bed for more space and we made the right choice. We had...

An older property that has been maintained well. Our room was appointed very well except for the small tv. The bathroom was very good, but there was no shower curtain or provision for one. I had hoped for a double bed, but we got two singles pushed together with separate bedding for each. The beds were comfortable. Hot water was...

We recently stayed in Residence du Pre and found that the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is quiet and clean. Excellent value for money. We were very pleased with the location also as it was very close to Gare du Nord. We would certainly stay again.

On a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord station. Room was a reasonable size and clean, though furnishings resembled a standard B&B. The bathroom was small but adequate though lack of shower curtain resulted in a wet floor. English TV station were BBC World News and CNN. Wifi was free but a bit slow. The lift was...

9min walk from Eurostar but in a quiet side street with friendly staff made for a great city break stay. Clean good size room. Negatives are 1) no shower curtain so wet bathroom floor [cleaned daily by chambermaid so only small inconvenience] 2) sound proofing between rooms was average at best [although there was very little street noise] 3) small...
