Staff were so attentive - but not too much, smiley - but genuine, friendly but not too much, natural and so relaxed - nothing was too much trouble. Overall, making our stay so relaxed and a joy to be there.

The personnel at the hotel are really friendly and charming. In addition, the facilities and rooms are really stylish and modern: its creative decoration includes pieces from different artists and you get to have a customized iPad to enjoy a pre-made playlist to set an authentic 'Le Pigalle' mood and to interact with concierge at anytime. The only tiny drawback...

Friendly staff (especially the concierge), beautiful room (it's a pleasure just hanging around the room taking in all the erotic artwork and funny random objects), great food (loved the inexpensive, delicious roomservice). Great value for money.

My boyfriend (now husband) and I were recently joined by 22 friends for our wedding in Paris. There are many challenges associated with planning a wedding in a city 5,000 + miles away, not the least of which was finding a hotel that would satisfy the tastes of 24 different people... Fortunately, after emailing back and forth with over a...

Pigalle is/was Paris' red light district. That said there doesn't seem to be anything seedy or illicit about the area so quite safe and livable. The hotel is brilliant and very laid back with a lobby that doubles as a cafe restaurant. The staff are super friendly way beyond what one expects in most of Paris. I also loved the...

This place rocked it. Great water pressure rainfall showers, cute rooms, comfy bed and awesome staff. The neighborhood was friendly and fun too, only a block away from the metro. Would definitely book again.

Apart from the whole design and hip concept Le Pigalle understands the modern approach of hotels better than most chains. You really get a local Airbnb feeling and causal vibe and the staff knows how to feel guests at home. Quiet rooms (given the area this is quite something), a great selection of shower gel, soap, the mini bar content,...

+ extremely friendly and helpful staff (rare for Paris) + lovely decorated rooms. Soundproof windows, nice music selection, wide shower... I was staying at the Pigalle 21 which is large enough for two (i was alone) + nice bar downstairs (with smoking room) + they arranged a small breakfast before normal breakfast time as I had to leave early -...

I had two stays. The first on my own (3 nights), the second a week later with my girlfriend (also 3 nights). I had many issues related to sim cards and delayed luggage, which were not of the hotel's doing. I was grumpy at times. But nonetheless the hotel staff went well out of its way to be supportive and...

The owners have done a great job creating this memorably different hotel, combining contemporary design with comfort and attention to detail. Great atmosphere in the reception/dining/bar area and the staff are both professional and friendly. I guess you could say it's trendy, but not in a shallow way. The rooms are excellent - mine had bunks whose bed size was...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
