Three night stay for Paris break. Couple with teenager. This was great city accomodation without the exhorbitant cost of a full-service hotel. It is a bit out of the way, which could actually be a plus. Nearest metro is Alesia - 10 to 15 min...More

The hotel is very easy to get to from CDG airport – get the RER B to 'Denfert Rochereau' where you switch to the Metro Line 4 (direction, 'Montrouge') and in two stops you get out at 'Alesia'. From Alesia, it is a 20/25 minute walk with cases to the hotel.
Or alternatively as suggested above, and probably much easier, get the RER B to Cité Universitaire (one station after Denfert Rochereau) and then take the tram 'T3' that goes in the direction 'Pont de Garigliano'. Four stations later you are at 'Didot' and walk 4/5 minutes down Rue Didot and you arrive at the hotel. By taking this route you have far less walking from the tram stop 'Didot', than from the metro station 'Alesia'. When you get off the tram, walk a very short distance to the junction where you will see the 'Porte Didot' café and turn right there into Rue Didot. from there it is about 400 metres to the hotel which will be on your left.
I travelled via 'Alesia' as I was not aware at the time of the alternative route via the tram, which in my opinion would be a much easier route to take. It cost €10 last April for the RER B ticket which included using the metro to 'Alesia', but I do not know if the ticket would cover the tram or if you have to buy a separate ticket for the tram.
