I had a quiet, clean, spacious room overlooking a tiny garden, in a nice neighborhood, near the underground stop. The price, part of a package with Iberia Airlines, was unbeatable. The only thing keeping it from "excellent" was the tired-looking upholstery and carpets in the room -- the place could use a face-lift.

A quiet location off a side street, Welcomed by helpful and friendly staff who smiled at my poor French. The room was very clean and kept that way over the three nights that we stayed. They supplied a English newspaper, but if you need to watch TV,only news channels, but who comes to Paris to watch TV!!!!! They do breakfast, but felt...

We stayed at the Élysée purely by chance, looking at hotels that had the feel of Paris but some luxury too. We had no idea before checking in just how close to the attractions it actually is. The Eiffel tower is an easy and pleasurable walk away, with the majority of the walk a perfect view of the owner itself....

Great position .We booked a superior room but believe we must have been upgraded to junior suite as very roomy .Excellent housekeeping ... spotless. Some of chairs could do with a fresh upholster . I travel internationally on business, but took a romantic break with my wife. This hotel was booked on a chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a diamond in the rough. Rooms were comfortable, location was great, restaurant was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. Every request was granted and Pascal at the bar was just a true...

We stayed here for a short break at the beginning of March. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming from reception through bar to breakfast. Talking of breakfast, there was a good selection of continental breakfast items, fruit, eggs and smoked sausage, and two lovely tarts - not great on the figure but a delicious treat for a holiday...

I booked the Hotel Garden Elysee online for a long weekend birthday treat for a special friend. The fabulous Moulin Rouge was a reasonable cab ride away and the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe, Lido, Bateaux Parisiens and Trocadero were all within walking distance. The Hotel was very comfortable and the highlight was undoubtedly the legendary barman Pascal....

I booked for a post Christmas surprise birthday trip. The location teamed with reasonable price tag (Paris isn't infamous for being kind to the pocket) and good reviews sold it. It was easy to get to from CDG via train and metro (The RER B, blue line from CDG to Chatelet Les Halles, then change to RER A, red line...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
