My daughter and I stayed at the L'Horset for 3 nights as part of trip to several spots in Europe. Would not hesitate to stay there again. About 45 minutes from CDG. Nice area (2nd arrondissement) located close to Opera House, Galleries Lafayette and metro. Room was available to us when we arrived at 12n (check-in is 3p) and beds...

This is a quiet, discreet, little and comfortable hotel in central Paris. It's located on a quiet, small street but is just a few steps away from Avenue L'Opera, a major thoroughfare. The hotel is within walking distance of some sights (e.g., Opera House, Ritz Hotel, Tulieries Gardens) and the Metro subway station. Just a caution when riding the Metro:...

I booked a room here through a Eurostar package, after a bit of research and was pleased with my choice. It is in a good location for walking to the opera, Louvre, Notre Dame etc, though the Metro is better for the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is listed as 4 Stars, though I would really consider it a quality 3...

Excellent location, US hotel standards in the midst of downtown Paris. Prices not low, but nothing in Paris is inexpensive. Free internet a real bonus. Many restaurants nearby including French fare and Asian cuisine. Walk to Metro and bus to airport. The only downside is that in the land of excellent bakery items, the breakfast - included in the overnight...

This is a great location for walking to many museums, to famous department stores, good restaurants, and to bus and train stations. We also walked to nearby bus that took us back to Charles de Gaulle Airport. Staff all spoke English, looked up schedules and locations for buses and trains, made dinner reservations, and helped us complete travel plans to...

My husband booked this hotel for my mother and I blindly and it turned out to be perfect. Conveniently situated between Opera and the Louvre, a quick walk to public/tour bus transportation, to Layayette Galleries for shopping or just to grab a wonderful pastry and coffee in a local pastry shop was easy. The hotel itself had a professional staff...

We just returned from our 6 day trip to Paris. After agonizing over which hotel to stay in before we left, we are so happy that we chose the Best Western L'Horset Opera. It is a lovely hotel with a great location; the best location in Paris, if you ask me.. The staff at the hotel, especially those working in...

I stayed for 3 nights in a room with a double bed at a rate of USD 260++ per night. I won't go into great detail since my comments are repeating what most other reviewers said. Location was ideal. The room was nicely furnished and decorated and the marble/granite bath was very nice. Outside noise wasn't noticeable and the bed...

The room was adequate in size, the decor for the hotel was very nice. This hotel was far nicer than any Best Western in the U.S.The location was great, on a quiet street. We walked practically everywhere. We were on a non-smoking floor, which is what I requested with my reservation. The breakfast was more than adequate, and the available time was...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
