63 euros for 1 night in a perfect location sounds like a great deal. We benefited an upgrade to a larger room, since the hotel was not full. Check out is at 11:00. But the staff kindly let us stay until 12:00.

First off I suspect many of these reviews are from management. I was told by the hotel that the owner owns 14 hotels in Paris so with that many hotels they may have someone who does the reviews, full time. Pros: Location Cons: Noise was the biggest thing (see below), view, size of room, some front desk personnel First, the...

We (sisters) had booked a twin room for five nights but on arrival we were told our twin room had been given to someone else. They offered to find another twin room at another hotel but none were available. So the first night we shared the double bed and they agreed to give us a single bed which was a...

Well one can't define it by words. It is one of the most amazing and biggest place for history and beauty. It will easily take 2-3 days to properly explore and understand in detail . This is a must must visit for anyone who visits France . Apart from monalisa this museum has a ton to offer.

We got about what we expected based on the price and other reviews. The rooms are small by American standards but quite adequate. We paid a little extra for a superior room with double bed and were quite comfortable and the view from our window was lovely. We had one slightly awkward experience where hotel staff let an older gentleman...

The only advantage of this hotel is location. Room is small (don't trust in their picture) but clean enough. The first night was a horrible shocking for us. I woke up because of the noise of somebody jacket, I turned on the light and was extremely panic to saw one stranger man stood next to my bed and my baggages...

Hardest thing about this hotel is finding it. Currently there is no signage on the street to indicate the hotel. Make sure you have the street number (40) but you will still miss it. It is simply one door opposite the bus stop. They are renovating the awning and signage and while this happens there is nothing other than a...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days. First impression one gets is of a really cramped reception area, followed by an even smaller elevator. The same theme applies to the rooms, which hardly have any space to move about. The heating system was malfunctioning - the room was like a furnace and the only way to resolve this was...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
