Stayed in this hotel several times with work, it’s a beautiful hotel, lovely surroundings. This time there was something new, something I thought was a brilliant addition. I travel a lot and I can’t understand why this isn’t in all hotels…They had an iPad with their own hotel app that allowed you to check all sorts of information and leave...

We spent 5 nights at the InterContintal Paris Le Grand and have not one complaint. When we first arrived...

This is a "grand" hotel in the old style; a Leviathan in size, with endless corridors not unlike those you would imagine on the great old transatlantic liners. Popular with both tourists and business people it embodies old-fashioned quality, without the in-your-face (some might say rather vulgar) opulence of the George V (which will no doubt be replicated in the...

The answer of the hotel...

Returned to Paris after almost a a decade. At that time, this hotel was under renovation so I stayed at the nearby Intercontinental Paris near Louvre which is now a Westin. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
