We got a nice suite with a large king sized bed and a sofa bed for our 2 children. Everything was perfect: A/C, TV, bathroom, beds, etc. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The location is fantastic. You walk to the Eifel Tower in 10 minutes. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood and has a courtyard that make you...

My wife and I just stayed at this hotel in Paris for several days. I am a Marriott Gold, so got upgraded to a Prestige room, even though this was a stay on points. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jordan, the night manager. He was expecting us, was very quick to check us in and personally showed us to...

What a beautiful hotel near the Eiffel Tower. Very convenient to subway. Located in a neighborhood and you feel part of the community. The hotel staff was great. Very nice courtyard great for unwinding. We loved the gin bar. Great boulangeries, cheese shoppes, restaurants and grocery stores near by. Loved it!

Good location, in the middle of a beautiful Paris neighborhood. Easy to get to all the major attractions. The rooms were typical Marriott - no suprise there. The rooms were hot when we were there - seemed to have an air conditioning problem. We could see the Eiffel tower in the distance from our room. Quite neighborhood. Good breakfast.

Had a nice stay at this hotel. The exterior is very Parisian and not your typical Marriott, which appealed a lot to us. Felt like living in a typical Parisian neighborhood. Located in a quiet neighborhood yet very close to all major landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were small but well kept. Breakfast was excellent and sumptuous with...

We stayed here for a week and we were not disappointed this hotel is very well designed modern but still quaint/Parisian in its exterior design. The hotel was easy to find straight off the underground with two different stops to choose from, it is in a nice area with lovely pastry shops to choose from. When we arrived the doors...

We've stayed at the Renaissance Parc Trocadero for the past four nights. Room was absolutely lovely, breakfast was as amazing. But even better -- after leaving the hotel for our trip from Paris to Amsterdam -- and realizing our passports were in the hotel in Paris in the room safe once arrived in Amsterdam... we were a bit freaked out....

We stayed here one night and our room on the sixth floor was larger than others I had seen in Paris. Situated equal distance between two metro stops and about a 5 minute walk from a great view of the Eiffel Tower. It is unlikely any of the rooms have views of the ET, as we were on the second...

When we arrived I thought perhaps the area would be too quiet as it was a neighborhood in the 16th. We had our granddaughters with us, ages 12 and 22. It was perfect! We felt very safe and it was near the Eiffel Tower, Arche de Triomphe, 2 metro stops, restaurants and lovely shopping. The staff was marvelous and the...

After a whirl wind tour of France from Mont Saint Michel to Mention, we were ready for a little TLC. The Renaissance Paris Hotel Le Parc Trocadero accomplished that and more. The convenient location (although we still managed to turn the wrong way a few times) and comfortable surroundings were perfect for our final two days in Paris. As we...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
