We were very happy with our room. It was a good size, well fitted out and clean.
The Concierge was extremely helpful with advice, street directions, printing boarding passes, and generally the best we have come across in our travels.More

Nice little room in a very good location. There was slightly too much furniture in the room which made the room feel a bit cramped and therefore we struggled for space at times. The WiFi could be slow. No iron but there is a service.More

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

I would probably advise booking tours before you set off for Paris as it is much easier especially when it comes to planning your tour of Paris. The hotel Villa Opera Drouot was in an ideal position central to most places and next to quite a few underground stations. BEWARE though don't be fooled that you can do Paris in a weekend. The Louvre takes a good day and what I would recommend in relation to the Mona Lisa is to go there first in the morning before any of the guided tours take place. We did this and we took clear photos without heads in the picture. It got really busy. There are so many places and if you want to go to Versailles that is a full day.
I say you would be looking to see everything in Paris then you are looking at at least 7 days so planning is essential.
We used a firm called Vivaggo who are extremely good. They are a part of the Tripadvisor group.
Hope this helps and if you require any further information please let me know.

Dear M. Darren,
We are sorry if the Villa Opéra Drouot was sold to you with air conditionning, but every agencie or internet site have been advised that we have not. It was as well mentionned when the inspector came for the certification and it was not disqualifiying us to obtain our 4*. We put fan for the guests requiring one. We have also minibar where you can put your purchase.
For the elevator it took more time than expected and previously told to us by the maintainance company.
We hope neitherwhile you enjoyed your stay with us.
