The Citadines Saint-Germain is a great hotel if you are looking for a comfortable and convenient venue. It is located in the very heart of Paris, surrounded with both cultural pearls and great restaurants. The staff is very customer oriented and the hotel is very detail-oriented (thank you for the free espresso machines!). However, there is room for improvement: there...

The positive of the hotel is mainly the location! It's walking distance to just about everything in Paris. Another positive is the tea/coffee facility along with the vending machine close to reception. I would strongly recommend not to book the Classic Rooms as they are extremely small even by Paris standards. The bathroom was not only extremely small, it was...

My room/studio at Citadines Apart’Hotel was booked for me by my language school. The main asset of this hotel is the location. It is an excellent location, a few blocks from Notre Dame. Overall the studio is adequate to my needs, although it is more like a hotel room, with a small kitchenette attached. For Paris, the size of the...

This was my first time staying in an apart-hotel. The staff was very kind when we came in, and gave us a helpful rundown of the city and how to get around to everything. The lobby has complimentary coffee and tea all the time, which is lovely if you need your tea in the mornings like myself. They have a...

After reviewing others' comments about this apart-hotel, I was quite adamant about paying extra for the Seine view and a high floor (6 or 7). I got the 6th floor with the Seine view and it was perfect & quiet. We opened the windows every time we were in the room because our view was so cool (Seine, Notre Dame,...

The hotel is facing the seine right next to pont neuf... walk across it and turn left and you are at the louvre... there are dozens and dozens of restaurants all around it... on the right is the st. michel square & again across the seine is the notre dame cathedral... so basically the location is as good as it...

Sure, but it's also nice to come home to a comfortable room at the end of the day,...

We enjoyed our stay in a Seine View one bedroom apartment. Although a little worn in places, the room was very spacious and the view was fantastic. Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.

You can then head off to drink a hot chocolate at the Café de Flore, one of the iconic institutions of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. In the afternoon, why not go to sample one of the famed ice-creams at Berthillon, on the Ile Saint-Louis? But perhaps you would prefer to go shopping along Rue de Buci, visit the Louvre or stroll along the paths of the Luxembourg gardens. For your evening, don't forget to book a theatre seat at the Théâtre de la Ville, the Théâtre de l'Odéon or the Théâtre du Châtelet.
