Our apartment was located on the street side, with a small balcony that allows us to see the traffic and the neighborhood. Right in front of a train station, with the Paris Pass we were allow to travel all Paris and return via subway to the hotel. Nice location.

The hotel is very well located , only steps away from the metro and Moulin Rouge. We stayed four people there, the hotel rooms are very clean & comfortable with friendly staff who is very attentive to your needs. The kitchen was well-equipped for a breakfast. We tasted amazing traditional french dishes for dinner. There were plenty of restaurants, shops,...

I stay here every time I come to Paris. I don't need a 'hotel' and this a wonderful and luxurious alternative. I'm happy to make my bed, hang my towels out to dry and I certainly don't need room service. I suspect most people are the same; we're adults after all. Residence Blanche is touching distance from Moulin Rouge and...

Convenient location, but would not stay here again. Room was small, dirty, noisy and had no air conditioning. There was a rug at the end of our bed that had a bunch of little ant like bugs as well that wasn't too appealing.

Room 12 was small, but nice. A lot of noize outside at nights/early mornings. Great location with a short distance to the Sacré Coeur and beautiful surroundings in the Montmartre. Small supermarkets, bakeries, cheese merchants and other shops in the area.

The apartment is equipped with kichenette. It is clean. It's very touristique with souvenirs shop everywhere. The receptionist is warm and he explained everything in patient way. Not many regulations like other booking apartment site...Airb.. Next time I'll be here again. Only the stair from first to second floor... Heavy luggage will be exhausting.. But the rest, yes there is...

We choose to say at the Residence Blanche after reading other reviews on tripadvisor. Hotel was nice, convenient and comfortable for our stay. Bonus was the Monoprix across the road and the metro stations. The staff were very friendly from the initial booking to checkout. Being from overseas, you can worry a little, but the staff answered my questions via...

Cannot fault this hotel, it was clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated and the location was brilliant for us. Location was ideal as we had a metro station just outside the door and the area is full of beautiful scenery from the bars, Moulin Rouge and cobble streets with so many shops and cafes and the Sacre Coeur at the...

The first thing I would say is this place isn't the Ritz, it is what it is which is a very basic place to stay. Our room was tiny but it was clean, the linen fresh and it was right in the middle of the hustle and bustle which was just perfect. We did the touristy things like going up...

We stayed one night in room 11. Not good at all. A bad smell from the bathroom (mold?). Not a room to stay. The room was also very small. With the sofa out, it was hardly any floorspace. For being a sofa, it was ok, but it's not like a good bed. We upgraded (no dicount) and the rest of...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
