The hotel is very central, however I was upset as the man at reception made a remark when I asked for a receipt for the tourist tax, saying that nobody has ever asked for it.

Above average bathroom size, good size bedroom, very clean, comfortable and recently renewed. Walking distance from metro but also from Republique, les Halles, Canal St Martin. really deserving three stars at least.
I decided to spend 2 nights at Hotel Alhambra as it was not only within budget, it was also a 2 minute walk away from the Metro station which made travelling to Disneyland quicker and easier the following morning.
