The rooms are clean, but a little small for the price you're paying. The beds are VERY firm! Was disappointed there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room as my wife and I like tea when we wake up. The Living wall area for breakfast was lovely but was lacking a little atmosphere,it was so quiet it felt a little...

My daughter and I visited Paris for our first time and couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel and its helpful and kind staff. The room was large, beautiful, and very clean. We especially loved the window seat area and the spacious and lovely bathroom. The location in Paris was also convenient and wonderful. The staff was so nice...

The most charming hotel in Paris! Warm, cozy, beautiful! The staff is perfect, as is the neighborhood, for shopping, eating, walking, watching, etc... I feel at home every time I stay at this delightful boutique hotel, and I'm not the only one.

Enter into this centuries old hotel and marvel at the wall of living and blooming plants in the glassed in courtyard while you are efficiently checked into your room. A small hotel in the centre of St Germain surrounded by shops, cafe's, restaurants , galleries and in the hub of the parisian lifestyle. Very friendly staff - nothing too much trouble and a delicious breakfast.

Firstly, the pros. The location is superb, close to the metro, monoprix and St Michel. The hotel manager and reception staff are friendly, and the hotel room is clean. The Internet is also excellent, and I have not had a problem whatsoever. Now the cons. The bathroom is small, you might think yes its Paris, its normal. In my case,...

My grown daughter, elderly mother in law and I stayed here for a quick reunion, and we loved everything about it (and I'm not too easy to please when it comes to hotels). We shared the family room -- two rooms joined by a small entryway -- and it was very convenient and comfortable. The rooms were sparkling clean and...

One of the best hotel on the left bank whenever I visit Paris I always stay here. Very clean, great rates and very friendly staff. Quick walk to the Luve and lots of nice restaurants and great shops. Breakfast is pricey

Hotel Pas de Calais exceeded all my expectations. The location near St Germain made walking to major museums very reasonable. The owner and staff were a treat to interact with everyday. And the living wall in the lobby/courtyard was lush and manicured. My single room was not large, but impressively modern. The front desk has extra electrical adapters (which I...

Everything about this little hotel is delightful. It is not particularly fancy. Rather, this unpretentious family-run hotel offers a friendly and comfortable home for a few days in Paris. The hotel staff is especially warm and helpful. Grandma lives upstairs while Alexis, his dog, Goethe, and his staff are always ready with recommendations, reservations, and general assistance. The location is...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
