Good overall. Maybe a bit run down, but large functional room, with some useful details eg a washing line in the bathroom and an empty fridge for your own food. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom (though the bathtub is tiny) and plentiful toiletries. I struggled a bit with the heavy fire doors to the room. Good location on a quiet street and central for many tourist sites. Pleasant staff. Reception closes at 11pm, but late arrival at midnight was no problem as I had warned them in advance. Rates were cheaper when I reserved on the phone than on their website; quite reasonable rates for Paris, especially for a triple room.

We were very happy with our stay here. Good location close to underground station and also very walkable. We stayed in a family room which was really 2 rooms (one queen bed and 2 twin). Plenty of room to spread out. Great air conditioning and a lift to make getting luggage to room easy.

We had a terrible first night at a different hotel and found this hotel the next day. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The rooms are spacey and very family friendly. We had two rooms and found our second room to also be very romantic as a couple. The restaurant next door is incredible!

I stayed three nights at this charming hotel and totally enjoyed it. The location is excellent. The only negative is it can be a little noisy. I didn’t mind because everything was vintage and charming. The concierge was very helpful and breakfast was excellent. The bathtub in my room was divine. I would definitely stay here again.

Located a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre in a quiet side street this hotel offers great value. The staff was really nice and helpful and made us feel welcome at once after struggling our way through a public transport strike. The room was clean and cozy with nice beds. Several good restaurants just outside.

I booked Through booking.com accidentally 3 vs 2 nights and right away tried contacting the hotel to cancel the last night. They gave me three different stories why they would not. I tried to cancel more than two weeks prior to my stay and they refused stating they never got the request, didn't get the request in time, the request didn't come through booking, they won't cancel reservations made through booking.com, booking.com's fault. I tried Directly as did Booking.com on my behalf. Since they charged my credit card already I was forced to stay there despite the unfriendliness. Then the room AC barely worked, broken tiles in the bathroom and there were exposed wires in the room. The stairs in the hotel are covered in carpet and stains.

Stayed here for a few days in July during the heat wave. Comfortable family room with good air conditioning. Friendly staff. Very near Musee Rodin- don't miss it! Walking distance to most tourist destinations.

The room was shabby but clean. The air conditioning did not work. The location is in a nice area of Paris but not particularly close to any Metra stops. About a 25 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. About 15 minute walk to the Seine.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and had no issues at all with either the room, the reception staff, the breakfast room or the location. We were on floor 2 at the back of the hotel. We had a very spacious room especially by Paris standards with also a good sized bathroom. Add to this, a lovely big and comfortable bed together with being located at the back of hotel and we were ensured of a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel was also kept very clean by the cleaning staff and was also well presented on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each day in the basement cavern, a quirky and interesting place to start each day. The lift is small but for 2 of us, got the job done when needed but we always used the stairs wherever possible purely for some exercise. The hotel is very well located to the local subway and easy walking distance to Musee Dorsay, Rodin Museum and the lovely streets/cafes/shops of Saint Germain. There is also a really great creperie restaurant in the same street which we visited and had a lovely lunch. A great stay for us and will book there again on our next Paris visit. As with Paris in general this hotel is not cheap at all but then again is also not expensive by Paris standards

I returned to this hotel with several friends for a fun vacation. We had comfortable quiet rooms and really enjoyed walking everywhere from our hotel including to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Bon Marche. When one of my friends became ill with an infection she knew she had to see a doctor. Mr Claudon, the hotel owner, arranged an appointment within a few hours. She received her prescription and was as good as new in no time. Anyone looking for a place to stay during the upcoming Olympics in Paris would enjoy this lovely and affordable venue. I have enjoyed this hotel for over 20 years and plan to return again soon.
