This hotel is in a great location, walking distance from the Eiffel Tower (20mins). Located near food and shopping, streets become empty very early (around 6pm-7pm). Very safe area, was out and about every night until about 11pm. Would totally go back for another stay

I've stayed here for years for two primary reasons, its reasonable price and the elegant, charming, central location. The Rue du Bac is very special indeed, chic, yet relaxed, quiet, yet lively, in the 7e, as good as Paris gets. There is nothing like it. Now a third reason: that since there are only eleven rooms in this hotel and... More

This was my 4th trip to Paris and the most 'average' of accommodation. Small dark room, uneven floor so the water from the bathroom leaked onto the carpet. Third floor accom with no lift, narrow staircase, and shaky handrail. Dangerous looking electrics in the room. The best that can be said is that if you wanted a genuine 'Down and... More

I've never written a review, but my experience at this hotel surpasses all the horrible experiences that I have ever had. Here are a FEW examples: 1- Air conditioning was advertised, but was not provided 2- TV was advertised, did not work... and the screen was no bigger than an iPad 3- Wireless was advertised, but we found out at... I expect more for 485 Euros for 3 nights! This place is clean and well located but know the facts so you can set up your expectations! The Facts: - The balcony turned out to be a tin roof with no view, dead plants and no table / chairs - the sliding bathroom door fell off twice - shower so... More

This hotel is really in need of a good re-vamp. Our room was tiny with peeling wallpaper, a bathroom door that didn't shut properly and in each lamp one of the two bulbs wasn't working. t was clean, though, and we had a little rooftop balcony which was quirky but overall it was no way worth the money we paid.... When checking-in and paying in advance for the room, the receptionist tired to overcharge me. Advise: keep your reservation with you. Room temperature was freezing. When checking-out there were no staff in the hotel and the outside door was locked from outside to prevent any exit. I needed to wait until the receptionist arrived (from his morning baguette search -... More

Really, it smelled like feet when you enter the room. Please, change out the carpet and add a fresh coat of paint! Fancy address isn't enough. ATTN light sleepers: you can hear the next room's conversations (etc.) word for word.

Honestly this place was pretty good. The 5 flights of stairs give you an AUTHENTIC PARISIAN EXPERIENCE. Julienne is an amazing Parisian that made the stay for my dad and I. He's just really nice. He, like almost every other parisian likes Japan a lot! One of the cleaning ladies was a jerk so we left a little of a... More

This hotel is in the best location possible and the staff was wonderful. They are what made our stay great. The young man and the woman were very kind people. The black cleaning ladies were very very rude.
