We went to Paris to enjoy our 30th anniversary and selected this hotel following a recommendation from a friend. We wanted a Paris experience and were very pleased with the choice. We just got back from our trip and will return to this hotel on...More
This hotel is located on the most delightful street that runs down the middle of Isle St Louis. It is nestled amidst wonderful shops with a range of food, clothes, gifts to choose from. Just a 5 minute walk away from Notre Dame Cathedral, Marais...More
Stayed here in March and found the location to be the best feature! The hotel is situated in an area that is the picture of a quaint Parisian street. There is a bakery across the way that sells amazing almond croissants, a chocolate shop next...More
L'ile St. Louis is magical but this hotel is just okay. Next time I would spend a little more to stay somewhere with a more comfortable bed and more updated. We love small,European hotels but this one was disappointing.

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.

Sorry, we did not do breakfast at the hotel. There is a wonderful bakery across the street and we mostly bought their quiches and brought them back to the room. There is also a Grocery store two doors down and we bought a lot of our food and stored it in the mini fridge.
