My husband and I are here in Paris for a conference I attended that was hosted by the journalism school across from Hotel de Fleurie, so we have been mixing business with pleasure. On both accounts, the hotel has been wonderful. Room 15 is small & without a view but it is clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The sitting...

This hotel is in a good location in Paris, close to wonderful sights and busy nightlife with the wonderful sidewalk cafes. The rooms are small like other hotel rooms in Paris, but decorated nicely and very clean. The bathrooms are modern and nice. Our room was warm (it was very cold in Paris) quiet and great for sleeping. The staff...

Hotel is in a great location- rooms are really small though. "Family suite not really an ideal set up but given our kids aren't babies/toddlers any longer it worked for us. It was two rooms connected by an outer hallway door. Door were heavy and therefore didn't really stay open very easily. But, it was great that the kids had...

This past August, we had another marvelous stay at the Fleurie! My family and I have been staying there nearly every summer since 2000 and each of our visits has been as memorable as it was wonderful. We attribute our consistently excellent experience, in large part, to our interactions with their invaluable employee, Vanessa. For the last three years, we...

A great location in the middle of everything on the left bank and near the metro, but just off the main road. Rooms very pleasant and clean but small (after all, this is Paris). Helpful staff. I didn't have breakfast there - bought at cafes. Great wi-fi worked well. Would love to stay here again.

I just got back from the Hotel de Fleurie and can't say enough good things about it. First among them would be the location. St. Germain is wonderful and the hotel is close to everything, but tucked off of the boulevard enough to be a little more peaceful. There is a bit of noise, but Paris is a big city...

The hotel is at a great location and the staff was excellent, always friendly and helpful. Had a problem with the air conditioner at first until we learned to check at the front desk to be sure it was on when the room was made up and we had been out, its controlled from the reception desk. It can be...

Went with this hotel based on reviews on this site, as well as Frommer's review. Sad to say I was terribly disappointed. Have been to Paris twice before and this hotel did not compare. I knew the St.-Germain area was "lively" but the noise in our room was unbearable. We were in rooms 10 & 11. Advertised as connecting rooms...

We have stayed at Hotel de Fleurie several times. This time, my college-age daughter and I came together. This hotel is very clean. The staff is very nice. I think the best thing about the Fleurie is its location. It is on the Left Bank near the Odeon Metro stop off St. Germain des Pres. There are so many great...

The location was ideal. It's in a "happening" part of town and central to everything. You can walk everywhere, take a taxi or the metro. The rooms were clean and quiet but quite small. They also conserve energy so hallway lights only turn on when someone walks onto the floor. To turn your room lights on you must insert your...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
