Ideally located on market street ‘Rue Cler’, Grand Hotel Leveque served as a good base for our travels though Paris. Our room was located below a shared accommodation level - ceilings & walls are thin, so noise was sometimes an issue. The gentleman at the...More
This quaint and small hotel along Rue Cler is a diamond- beds are comfortable, room is very clean, and you may even have the room with the view of the tip of the Eiffel Tower. It is around 3 to 4 blocks of walking to...More

Thank you for your very nice comment ! It is very nice to read! Our staff is always here to help you for any request you might have. The room and bathroom are small due to the architecture of central Paris buildings.
Hotel is very nicely located in the center of Paris, the 7th. Nearby busses and Metro. Small walk to the Seine and Museum Branly. The Rue Cler has restaurants, cheese shop, wine shop, delicatesses, fruit and vegetables shops.
The hotel is a bit shabby. Room...More

Thank you for taking time to share your experience with us.
The lift, the rooms and bathrooms are quite small due to the structure of typical old buildings in central Paris. It is very common in Paris.

With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and
politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
The hotel will arrange for a shuttle. It is not free at all, but less than a standard taxi would be. Hotel Leveque can give you the rates, if I recall correctly, so that you can make the best choice for your situation... More
The hotel will arrange for a shuttle. It is not free at all, but less than a standard taxi would be. Hotel Leveque can give you the rates, if I recall correctly, so that you can make the best choice for your situation. If/when I stay again (and that is definitely in the plans), I would not hesitate to use the shuttle service arranged by the hotel.

That's an entirely personal preference, in my opinion. I was in the twin room, with no view at all. But like others who have commented, my time in the room was very limited I was too busy exploring and experiencing Paris. I will say, that regardless of which room you ultimately book, I think you will find the location of Grand Hotel Leveque to be a major selling point. I LOVED the area and the street itself. You have everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!) you need with a very short walking distance, from a coin laundry to a post office and bus/metro service. The local residents are fantastic and the shopkeepers are so helpful and friendly.
Have a terrific time in Paris, regardless of the size of the room!

"The lift is tiny so a room on one of the lower floors as you may be using the stairs a lot."
