We were referred this hotel for a business and visiting trip to Paris. There is no AC in this hotel... The rooms are small. The confort is average. The room service is bad. I would not highly recommend this hotel. It is not located in central Paris, but it is near the Nation station, which is a station that has...

Booked this hotel at the suggestion of a friend. Checked in late to discover that the room was totally unsatisfactory. It was small, poorly appointed, sported a creaky, uneven floor, included a hard, uneven bed and a strange shower with a step-up platform and a step down shower pan in which my wife and I almost slipped and fell. I...

Nouvel Hotel is not in a tourist area and isn't central, but is quiet yet surprisingly close to Nation station with 4 metro lines and the RER making all the Paris sites easy to reach. The rooms are small but far from being spartan and certainly don't feel like a corporate chain. The breakfast room doubles as a lounge so...

Positive : - very friendly staff, they are a big part of the positive experience - great location, next to metro and Rer, but still very quiet, even the rooms that are on the side of the street - very good breakfast, though a bit pricy (but normal hotel price) - very romantic and old fashioned room decoration (great) -...

It was an affordable place to stay, conveniently located near the subway station. The room was a bit cramped and a little too frilly for my taste. It was fairly hot and humid while I was there, but opening the windows at night took care of that, so I didn't miss the AC at all. The washroom is small, but...

I've spent 2 nights in this hotel and yes it's not to bad altought no air conditioning in a super hot night and no parking for the car as mentioned in the services offered by the hotel. The rest is more or less ok if you do not need to have a shower more than once a day (soap is...

I stayed here last week for three days. Very close to Nation metro line, Casino food market and various bakeries and an Irish pub within a few steps of front door..but hotel is quiet. Three floors, no elevator. Double room with bathroom was decent size, not too cramped. Nice courtyard view. They offer hairdryers, but as of my trip no...

The staff at the hotel were fantastic, making us feel very comfortable and offering plenty of help and advice to make our trip enjoyable. We had two adjoining rooms for a family of four - small by American standards but far more charming. Being right next to the metro made all sightseeing easy and quick. Highly recommend if you are...

“Ask for courtyard view. The hotel is close to a pub, but a few hundred feet away with no other stores around. So it's not too noisy anyway..but if you like quiet rooms, always be sure if any hotel you stay in has a room that faces towards the back, or towards a courtyard.”

“Upper level "family room" with two adjoining rooms was very much enjoyed by us. AC is not as typical in Paris as in U.S., and this hotel didn't have it. The rooms faced the street, and we would crack the windows at night for some air circulation so as a result we could hear some street sounds. For the most part, street sounds were completely reasonable for sleeping. I really enjoyed looking out the window and seeing typical French architecture across the street.”
