So they try to pass this off as a 3* hotel but it would not even serve as a hostel. It is basic, but that is not the problem. It is the black mold and unwashed tub in the bathroom, the minuscule shelf they pass as a desk, the stained sheets, and the door that does not lock properly. The...

I decided to stay again in this hotel, its very near the place of my son and and the price very convenient. The rooms are modest but clean, the street is quiet, well located the rooms are small but the size is enough.

The wifi didn't reach up to our room, and my husband had urgent business to attend to. He went down and sat at the empty seating by reception (the space for breakfast in the morning). The manager/owner told him he couldn't sit there, and that he couldn't be doing work around reception either. When my husband explained the situation, he...

I had a terrific time in Hotel Du Parc Montsouris, I travelled with a group of friends and thought it was very cheap for a location so close to the centre of Paris so we didn't really know what to expect but as soon as we found the hotel we were put at ease. We realized that this was a...

Very nice hotel in a quiet little street near the Parc Montsouris. We always sleep with open windows, that's unique in Paris! Rather little rooms, clean and recently renewed. Kind and helpfull staff. Breakfast is correct but nothing special.

I have stayed here many times and have been in probably a third of the rooms. Room 633 with a view of the Eiffel Tower (craning your neck a bit) is my favorite and is definitely very quiet. In fact, I have not been bothered by noise in any of the rooms, in large part because of the secluded side...

Arrived at 5.30am due to a taxi strike in the city, but as promised, there was a member of the reception staff there to meet us. Our room was on the ground floor, just adjacent to reception. It was small, but, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had a really good shower which was welcome after our...

Reasonably priced located in south of Paris. Maybe by chance but quite noisy hotel (maybe by chance but nieghbour next door had tv on which was really quite loud) but with good bed in quite small room. Breakfast was quite big (especially for french standards). Nice parc opposite of the hotel.

This is in a good location near the RER cite universite with easy access to both Orly and CDG airports If coming from Orly it is a quick 25 euro taxi ride. Don't do this from CDG as too expensive Quiet safe clean and no frills Great wifi Good brasserie down the road Half the price of other nearby chains...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
