This is very small hotel close to Parc Montsouris in the limits of Paris. Is not luxurious or anything. The elevator barely fits one person and the beds are not the greatest, but it is quiet and there is no noise, so if you are visiting paris of a budget and will most likely be out all day, this is...

We booked a family room and it was extremely smal, old furniture, rusty bathroom, sime spiders, elevator for one person and its luggage. On the other hand the location is pretty nice with the parc nearby

I stayed here with my husband because he attended a conference in the area. The hotel is what you would expect for a 2 to 3 star. Rooms were clean, good wifi though you need a code/password for each device (we had iphones and ipads), staff were friendly, limited english if that's something you require. No air conditioning, but the...

Really nice little hotel, right next to Parc Montsouris. I would stay in the university area again, about 4 tube stops to the centre and feels quite safe. The hotel rooms are very basic, we paid for a superior but I'm not sure that's what we got. But overall very nice.

Hotel looks old situated in a side street, very near to a beautiful parc, nice place for jogging and a nice walk in the green. Good for commuting as metro and RER are at walking distance. I had a room at the ground floor next to the lift, the room was very small but ok if you are travelling very...

OK it's a great location up a quiet side street near the idyllic Parc but otherwise finding anything to recommend is nigh on impossible. From the outside you'd imagine it might be charming, tasteful and quaint. But it appears to have been last refurbished in the 60s or 70s and then on the cheap. Awful tiles, cheap mirrors, faded purple...

First and foremost, the hotel is a small and lovely experience. The courtyard makes you forget you're in the middle of one of the world's large cities. Its proximity to the metro is ideal and the surrounding area is full of greenery and fine curiosities.

This is as good as a two star hotel in Paris gets... Great value and a pleasant experience in a clean property (though beds a little lumpy). The hotel is not quite in the middle of the action - though you are right next to a wonderful park. If you are visiting Cite University, this is a perfect location. It's...

We, a family of 2 adults and 2 kids of 4 and 8 years decided spontanously to go to Paris, a decision made only one week before the Easter weekend. Of course most of the the Paris hotels I knew were booked out by then, but I found this one and from the reviews and the price it costed, I...

You pay a fair price for a fair service. It is a nice tourist hotel, with very friendly staff. Like in a lot of Paris hotels, you feel like a giant when entering: a tiny elevator, narrow staircase, bathroom, etc. But it’s all there, functions properly and is clean. The breakfast is simply but well taken care off and more...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
