I actually want to thank for stuff. They were so helpful always and so kind. The rooms are clean. Some things could be better but it’s small issues. The location is very good. Bus stop is beside, train station beside, shops, restaurants, everything.

I booked two nights in this hotel (11th & 12th of sept) with full excitment. The moment I arrived to the hotel, I was turned off! There was a French lady at the reception who was extremely rude to us but I did not really pay attention to her attitude because I was too excited to go out and explore Paris! After we have arrived back to the hotel, we checked in and then noticed we dont have water so I went down trying to get water from the machine but it didn't work. So I politely asked that lady if she can help me use the machine. She replied rudely with a "NO IM BUSY" I mentioned to her my mother is very sick and needs to take her medicine now. She again replied with a no I'm busy I can't now! And she boldly said "you know i'm rude" Can you imagine how rude that was!! I believe her name is Celia. The next day I spoke to the executive officer or their manager, she was nice but I'm not sure if she did actually take an action towards this lady's attitude.

This review is two years late, when I posted the original review it was taken down. I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend two years ago in June of 2016. The location of the hotel is okay, at the time there were a lot of Syrian refugees all over the two block radius, so location wise, it was not dangerous, but its not the city center. The reason why I am rating this a 1 star experience is because when my boyfriend and I came back for the day we left our Laudree macrons with the front desk since the mini fridge in our room wasn't working. We left 48 macrons with a man who was working the afternoon/evening shift. He said it wasn't a problem, he would hold on to the macrons and it will still be here when we checked out which was in the early morning. The next day when we checked out, it was around 4 AM-- an older man was working the night shift. He was extremely rude, we told him we were checking out and that we left our macrons with the front desk in the fridge. He said it wasn't there and tried to brush us off. But if you guys know, these macrons weren't cheap, they were around 80 USD so I wasn't leaving without them. He said stop making a fuss, they were just cookies and told us to leave. I said no, we paid a lot of money for the macrons and it was in the fridge with the front desk. The man started yelling at us and got other people involved because he said his english wasn't good. We felt like we were attacked at being robbed. I threatened to call the cops and little did you know he turned around, opened the fridge and took out our macrons! It was unbelievable and this incident almost caused us to miss our flight.
This hotel was a terrible experience, extremely rude staff. The rooms were mediocre, clearly not that great since the fridge wasn't working. I

As heard in other reviews, this hotel is extremely difficult to find and there are little to no amenities offered (had to pay a deposit to use an iron, have the front desk call for a cab to the airport). There is no wifi in the room, it has to be used in the lobby - one evening while using the wifi in the lobby I saw two small rats running around the bar and lobby area. I reported it to the front desk - they laughed and said there was nothing they could do. Also, there was a terrible odor in the lobby area for days, that again, they could not explain or do anything about. It is relatively close to the train; however, the walk is not very safe. I would recommend travelers budget a little more money to stay in a safe and clean hotel and skip this one!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The first step when we do check in, the receptionists are rude and unfriendly welcome. When they saw our passport, we are from Myanmar(Burma), they are laughing and questioning by themselves where is Myanmar(Burma). I explained the location and geography of Myanmar my country. They are speaking French and laughing again. I was really disappointed their manner and behaviour what they welcome their guest. Even they didn't move their buttock from the chairs to give the room keys. They should learn more about hospitality. The hotel is look like old. There are two small and slow lift. But one is broken. We stayed there for three nights. Till when we do check out , the lift is still broken. The hotel rooms are neat and tidy. But very small and narrow as like as matches box. When we are in the room there are no more space for luggages. I stayed in twin room for alone. But my friends stayed in twin rooms and they were uncomfortable for two persons. With the luggages there are no more space to step in the room. Our booking is including breakfast. when we do check in and asking about breakfast time. They denied our booking is not included breakfast. I shown them our booking which I print out they accept including breakfast. At that time the way they communicate to us was very rude. The next morning when we go for breakfast there are just only a few bread, boiled eggs and juice. There are three coffee machine. But whenever you press button for Espresso or Cappuccino. There are coming out but black hot water. No coffee. When we told to waiters and waitress they didn't taking care and it's happened the same things for 3 days. That's why I would like to suggest to others travellers who will read this comment should avoid this hotel. You will be regraded for the money what you paid. Find another hotel instead of booking this one.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for a weekend over valentines. We booked the hotel before we looked at the reviews and then we were so worried because the reviews were awful. We didn't expect much for what we booked but the hotel was lovely, so much nicer than expected. It's not much to look at from outside but the lobby area is reasonably nice and the reception staff were friendly and spoke good English, the hotel was easy to get to from central Paris on the metro. Our first concern was the area which was previously called the "Tottenham of Paris" however, yes, the location was a building site but we could not hear this from our room and we had no trouble or fear walking around there at night. Our room was lovely! Emaculately clean and well decorated. Breakfast was nice our only concern was that not all of the cutlery was clean. We were very pleasantly surprised, don't let the other reviews put you off!

Spent 5 nights here at the end of May with my boyfriend. We were doing Paris on a budget so wanted to find a cheap enough hotel. This place was perfect, it is close to a metro station and we found we were able to get from our hotel to any of the major tourist spots within half an hour. The hotel itself was basic but we never planned on spending much time in the hotel, We didn't opt for the breakfast as there are plenty of little coffee shops around to pick up croissants and coffees from around. We usually popped into the bakery near the metro station before heading off for the day. Only downside is there is no wifi in the rooms, there is in the lobby but it was hit and miss when we were there. Small issue as we didn't come to Paris to be on the internet anyway. Would recommend this hotel, especially for people watching their money.

Needed a last minute hotel in Paris and booked via last minute. Wasn't expecting much due to the previous reviews. Check in was quick and simple, staff helpful and polite. Lift still not working and we were in the 5th floor with heavy cases however tgeae were delivered to us by the staff. Room was spacious for France, good air con, comfy beds and a tv. Great bathroom and shower with nice towels. Check out was as quick and simple as check in. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Hotel is about 20 minutes from the city centre on the metro. The area surrounding had plenty cafes and eateries. Bus round the corner takes you to Gard du Nord in 20 minutes. This suited me as I prefer to stay away from the tourist areas. Would stay here again, preferably with working lifts!!

Booked to stay in this hotel after finding it on a hotel deal website. On arrival we found the hotel to be updated and lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was similar to a Travelodge - basic but nice.
Air con in room was broken, in a hotel room with windows that didn't open - in the heat of Paris ultimately led to poor, over heated night sleep.
Breakfast was lovely, had the basics of cereal, toast, coffee, juices etc.
On our final night stay we came back to the hotel to find our room had been cleaned (after putting their own 'do not clean' sign on our door. When entering our rooms we found a load of things had gone missing. We had left extra money in the room to ensure we had enough for our metro home the next day. Our purse had been gone through and all cash taken.
Expensive make up brands were taken (baring in mind this is a small box room with both of us only taking 1 backpack on the holiday). Lipsticks, make up brushes from a small make up bag had vanished and other bags had been gone through.
When visiting the guy on reception he took note and said we were to wait for an email after we returned back to the uk to see if anything had been resolved.
It's such a shame - it's our first holiday as a couple - we had a lovely time and the hotel room was lovely - not happy that we are now returning home from Paris to the UK with items missing and money taken from us.

I found the area to be safe and never encountered any problems, we often returned late at night. The location is good, there are the odd homeless person, however you are more likely to encounter these people during the day.
