Very nice boutique hotel situated close to the Place de la Concorde and across the street from the gardens in front of the Louvre Museum. Lobby floor has a little living area after the check-in desk of the reception area. It also has the breakfast area. In regards to the breakfast, it does have cold breakfast layout with the option of ordering an egg dish by request (included in the room rate with breakfast daily option). The staff did seem short handed when it came to breakfast. Usually only 1 person doing everything (seating people, doing coffee orders, cleaning up tables, etc.) One morning there were no clean tables to sit at. Felt bad for the guy! The room was nice. Big bathroom with a shower and tub combo. Except the shower had this strange half door situation where water got everywhere because everything was technically open besides this small section. The shower matts would instantly get soaked. Also interesting things to note... the reception requires you to return your key every time you leave the hotel for safety reasons. Never stayed at a hotel like that! However, it didn't change the experience of the hotel or room. They have a reusable water bottle in the room and request you to dial to get the bottle refilled. I wasn't a fan of this method since there were times I requested water and they didn't come. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Air conditioning worked well, but most of the time opened the large windows for cool air at night. The location of the hotel is nice since many shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Staff was overall very kind and helpful. The receptionist helped me find an ATM machine one day because I couldn't find one myself and didn't want to wonder around aimlessly.

I have found my new home in Paris!! I loved my stay at the Hotel Mayfair. The staff were excellent. Personal service and detail. Before I arrived they arranged many restaurant bookings for me which I really appreciated. On arrival we were upgraded to a junior Suite for our first night from a superior, and to a superior from a confort the remaining 3 nights, which again was extremely appreciated. I highly recommend the junior suite which was on the 6th (top) floor and had a balcony with views across the rooftops to jardin de tuileries. The beds were super comfortable. The rooms were nicely renovated. There was an espresso coffee machine in every room. We had a situation where a family member had tested positive for Covid thé day before our arrival and I had to have an extra youth with us last minute.. thé hôtel were very accommodating in finding a solution to fit the extra guest which wasn’t easy as they were fully booked. What I liked most was the renovated rooms and the personal intimate feel to thé hôtel. All the staff were so lovely and professional and personable. I spent a long time researching to find the hôtel that ticked all my boxes in this location within a budget I could afford. The last time I was in Paris 10 years ago I stayed at the George V hôtel abd the time before that the Ritz, which are of course hard shoes to fill.. but I really enjoyed this hotel for its excellent location, and small personable experience and nicely renovated rooms. It was perfect. It’s a real gem!!! J’ai hâte de retourner chez Hôtel Mayfair !!

When I first arrived at the hotel I was worried because I needed an early check in but the front desk was very accommodating! On top of letting me check in early they upgraded my room to a suite which was beyond nice. The room itself was super spacious and very nicely decorated. Also, there was an expresso maker in the room which I loved. The staff I encountered were very helpful and welcoming and there was always someone at the front desk if you needed anything. The location was also ideal because you are in very close walking distance of so many attractions such as the louvre! I had an absolutely lovely time at the hotel and I will definitely be returning!

First impression was not great as there's a vague "oldy-musty" smell in the reception area and the staff is not too friendly, however the hotel is located in a good location which made the night rate quite acceptable for Paris. The view from my room was... a wall so that was not great but the bonus was it was quiet - rubbish clearance in the morning can be loud if you are on the street side where however you get the best views! The room itself was spacios, clean, bathroom was recently renovated with a large shower head. There isn't a restaurant within the hotel, but they provide room service, I was told by a restaurant nearby - if you are hungry and can't be bothered to go far, head to the L'Ardoise which is just a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast OK, nothing special but it offers anything from continental to cooked.

Dear guest, We will be honest here. We do not see in what you wrote any reason for considering the hotel as mediocre. As indeed, the room you were in is a newly refurbished room, bathroom included and that finally breakfast, which is a buffet seems also to be at least meeting your expectations. As for the staff, please note that this is one of our strength. All reviews on this site and other sites prove it : firendly is one of the most used word to describe our team. So we are a little bit sitting on the fence here and do not know what to say about what we finally could call a mediocre review for a nice hotel. All the best from Paris,

After we booked our stay, France instituted (due to the COVID surge) a restriction on traveling from the UK into France. Since we were legally prohibited from traveling to Paris through no fault of our own, we asked the hotel to simply grant us credit to stay at the hotel on a future date after the travel restriction was lifted. The hotel kept the our entire payment for our three-night stay and would not allow us a credit. We have not experienced this with any other hotel, airline, etc. since the pandemic began and travel has had to be rescheduled due to restrictions. Needless to say, when were are able to travel to Paris we will stay at a hotel that does not exploit an awful situation to make some extra money just because they can technically get away with refusing any flexibility or understanding.

My wife and I were at the Mayfair Paris hotel a few days ago. We got room 61. What makes this hotel is the location, close to several of the key museums (Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, etc, etc. The room is comfortable, clean. Bathroom is fine, but not very practical for people who take a shower every day (no curtains or glass doors to prevent the water from getting to the floor).
Breakfast was adequate, nothing to write home about it.
Please note, they advertise the hotel has having public parking available. In reality the hotel is located in a very narrow street, a real nightmare to get the rental car to the front of the hotel. I had to leave the car at the Place de Vendome parking, which is about 3 blocks from the hotel.
Please note, we have been in France 9 times, therefore, have been exposed to other hotels.

I had a truly spectacular stay at the Hotel Mayfair, and cannot recommend it enough. The hotel is conveniently located just opposite the Jardin Tuileries in the 1st Arrondissement, and the views from the hotel are accordingly dreamy. The area is very safe, which was important to me since I was travelling alone, and the hotel is in easy walking distance of the museo d’orsay and museo d’orangerie. It’s also a straight, scenic walk down the Seine if you want to get to Notre Dame (that is to say, it’s a good central point if you’re not the best with directions!).

The hotel itself is beautiful, imbued with traditional Parisian charm. I love the 18th century paintings in the reception, and the carefully chosen furniture. Downstairs, there is also a bar, which has a charming 1920s feel to it. My room was airy, clean and spacious, with an espresso machine (ft. complimentary coffee pods which was much appreciated), and the cutest balcony looking out over the park.

I didn’t opt for the inclusive breakfast, but I did order breakfast in my room on two of the days. The bread basket was particularly good: fresh, soft and also very generously portioned. I saw some reviews complaining of the surcharge for room service (a three euro fixed fee); however, this is a much lower surcharge than other hotels and doesn’t feel unreasonable, especially since it is so well presented.

The staff were kind and friendly, especially at reception, and I felt well-cared for the whole way through my stay. They helped me book a taxi from the station, and lent me things I had forgotten.

I cannot recommend the Hotel Mayfair enough if you are looking for a luxurious stay in Paris. Especially at this price, you would struggle to find another hotel this good in Paris.

Had a great stay at the Hotel Mayfair, would absolutely stay here again. Location is great - right next to the Tuileries, can walk to the Louvre, easy subway access via Concorde, convenient shopping nearby on Rue St Honore. Staff is very kind and helpful. Did not eat at the hotel as breakfast was not included with the room.

On recommendation of our travel adviser, we booked at Hotel Mayfair for four nights. This boutique hotel is well located near Place de Concorde and across the street from the Jardin de Tuilerie. The Louvre is about three blocks down the street. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent as was the corner brasserie ! Don't believe the bad rap Parisians are given about rudeness. They were gracious and helpful whenever we had questions. We were also pleasantly surprised when our room was ready earlier than expected! Thank you, Hotel Mayfair, for your excellent room and stay! We will be back!

We spent 3 nights in the Mayfair and enjoyed our stay immensely. Great location just a few minutes walk from the Tuileries gardens and Louvre. The hotel combines classical French style with modern conveniences.. The rooms were equipped with several usb charging points and a good Wi-Fi connection. All the staff were friendly, courteous and very efficient. Special mention for the lovely lady who ran the breakfast room. Always a welcoming smile, and nothing was too much trouble! The hotel is highly recommended and hopefully we will have an opportunity to stay there again.
