I stopped here for one night to visit a friend in the nearby Montparnasse district (14th Arrd). It is literally across the road from the metro so very easy to reach, great especially when laden with baggage! I arrived around lunchtime, in the pouring/freezing rain...More

We are glad that you had an enjoyable stay at the Hotel Sophie Germain, and hope to see you again soon.
Unless you want to spend a great deal more, the Sophie Garmin really offers everything needed from a small central hotel. Very clean, proper size beds for someone of 1.90m, smart modern bathrooms with several small freebies that help make a guest at home.

This is a nice little hotel in a great location in Paris. I got a promotion with a great price. It’s clean and offers all you need for a solo business trip. No frills, a good bed, a kettle for some coffee and a good...More

We thank you for your nice comment, and look forward to seeing you again on your next trip to Paris.
A great place to stay in Paris. I can recommend this to all visitors, be it private or on business
The rooms are tiny, with an even tinier bathroom.
But what counts:
Very friendly staff
Very good breakfast
In a quiet neighborhood.

Thank you for your kind comment. The hotel was entirely renovated in 2014, and being a family-owned business we strive to achieve a very friendly atmosphere.
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
