My wife and I stayed with our two young kids. Fantastic location, cute courtyard, friendly well presented staff. The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. Now sure it's a little small and cramped with four of us in one room. But that's life at "Basecamp" - we're here to explore, not hang out in...

We had a two bedroom apartment for a family of five. The apartment is not big but very clean and has two bedrooms and a small kitchen. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is handy to the metro. There are plenty of bakeries, restaurants and a supermarket within an easy walk. There is also a view of the...

Two night family stay with an infant and toddler. The location is key to this hotel, close to all the big hitters you want to see in Paris and the subway is just round the corner if you're heading to Disneyland afterwards, direct train which takes approx. an hour. Rooms very good, clean and adequately equipped. Staff are also very...

My husband, my 2 girls and I stayed on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The room was tight and have barely space to walk with our 3 luggages. I had to place one of the luggages in the big wardrobe in the room to make space. The room had 1 queen size bed and 2 single beds. It was...

If you just step outside of the hotel, you have a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower - which is pretty great. Our room wasn't as spacious as advertised but our overall stay at the hotel was good, with really excellent staff. Would recommend.

Me and my partner stayed here mainly for seeing Paris at Christmas. Room clean and tidy but the room door was very flimsy and cheap so you would hear alot of corridor noise. Ask for tea/coffee making facilities when you check in as rooms dont have them and you will be presented with a tray. Boissière is your nearest Metropolitan...

We really enjoyed our stay here, staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The location was fantastic being within an easy walking distance of both the arc de triomphe and the Eiffel tower. The rooms were very clean and furnished to a three star standard. Thank you!

My wife and I got a cracking deal for this hotel through the easyjet website that would have been crazy to knock back. The hotel is in a fantastic location with the Arc de triomphe,Champs Elysees and Eiffel tower within walking distance or if you prefer you can use the metro nearby. Check in was really quick thanks to the...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
