Hotel is in a practical location with great rooms. I have stayed in it a few times and always when i have a chance I go back. My only point is that breakfast must improve...the continental option is not very exciting and hot options should be offered to clients.

We first stayed at this hotel two years ago on our way to Italy and this time it was our last stop on the way home from Italy. We have to say that this visit we were disappointed with the Hotel as it seemed run down and shabby compared to how it was before and we were genuinely surprised that...

We chose the Washington Opera because it's part of the Golden Tulip group, which we think quite highly of. The locality is superb. The gardens of the Palais Royal are just to one side - heaven in early spring - and it's a couple of minutes walk to the Louvre, and the metro. All of Paris was at our feet...

First time in Paris and I loved the fact that most attractions were just walking distance from this hotel! the front end service was exceptional, I had the man at the front desk (forgot his name, north african-french man...its been 2 months since the trip lol) help me out by choosing places to go to and figuring out the best...

We stayed here for 2 nights weekend of 28th Jan 2012. As mentioned by others, the rooms and bathroom are small but ours (205) was very clean, comfortable and well presented. We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment, but plenty of very nice places to eat close by and 2 small convenience stores just a few doors away. No parking...

Stayed there over the weekend. The hotel was clean and staff were very polite but rooms were tiny and there was not enough room in the bathroom for two people to use at the same time. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were rock hard. Breakfast was OK, no fruit or cereal just pastries, bread, ham, cheese and plain...

- superior room with a king size bed = a small room with two separate beds - the toilet was dirty, had been left unwashed - the staff were passive and unhelpful - they claim to do room service all day (I called to ask) but once I arrived found out it is only between 7pm and 10pm and no...

We stayed at the Washington Opera Hotel in September 2010 for a couple of days before heading on to Italy. It is a well located hotel and we enjoyed our time in Paris. The room we had was a good size and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice but fairly basic and the service was on the slow...

Expensive for a tired no frills hotel. The carpet on 5th floor is grotesque and needs replacing. The smell of cleaning products is also horrid. Nasty stain on furniture in the room.
