I was on a business trip in Paris. My room has been booked by my company. As as single I guess I didn't get the best room but it was good enough. I enjoyed the Art Déco look of the building and the interior, but most of all the location. Bld Haussmann is quite centrally located so if you like...

The hotel itself is beautiful, however the staff manage to make you feel unwelcome. Everything is too much trouble, many sighs over the simplest query. Chatting to other staff members seems to take precedence over customers. Will never consider this chain again .

Arriving in Paris (our favourite place to visit) we got this hotel at good price. Having stayed elsewhere in Paris on previous trips I can say this wouldn't be on my list to stay unless it was a last resort. Staying in the hotel for 7 nights we were put in the smallest of rooms, having travelled from Australia we...

Spent a couple of nights here with friends, location is fantastic. Bar is absolutely dead though, never saw anyone in it full stop. Rooms were great, shower adequate, wi-fi worked, friendly staff, wonderful old lift. We were in room 307 which was a 'mini-suite' I believe, had a lovely sitting room attached for entertaining/drinks/nibbles, which had it's own separate door,...

Though not a modern interior, the Millennium offers definitely value for money. So I often go there. Spacey rooms, a quiet environment, good beds, right beside a metro station in the Centre of the city. Regular upgrades to larger rooms. I like this place.

The hotel is seriously aging. The bathroom was in bad condition. Every time you open the bath tab the place would flood. The carpet was dirty and everything looked old and scruffy. The bar at the ground floor was nice and the barman made good drinks.Overall very disappointing

Wasn't a comfortable stay all in all. Much too old, which would be charming if things worked. Room was too warm, no matter which way I turned that dial! Complained twice, nothing happened. Clean and comfy twin bedroom, ok breakfast. Nothing special to be honest.

Stayed here while husband on business trip. Large rooms and excellent breakfast. Still maintains the atmosphere of old Paris. High ceilings and crown molding with the gated elevator. Very quiet considering the size of this city.

I have been here 2-3 times due to corporate travel policy. The hotel is old, furniture is old, carpet is super old (15 years? more??) and you can easily see it and smell it in the rooms and corridors. I understand that Paris is not a place for cheap hotels, but with 4 stars this place is highly overrated. Also...

The location is really the best thing I can say about this hotel. It's an old, historic building - Art Deco.. The lobby is nice and the bar behind with it's chesterfield sofas, very cosy. The restaurant is busy at lunch time but closed for dinner. Not a problem with the many nice restaurants nearby. People are friendly and the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
