This hotel was fab ... the staff was so helpful as we didnt know much french. They spoke fluent english and helped booking taxi's and shows. The food in the hotel wasn't the best but the waiters and waitresses were lovely. The rooms have a big comfy bed and a very powerful shower. There very well heated and you get...

Dear Loren-Jamie, Thank you very much for submitting your review on Tripadvisor. This hotel has a great location! The staff are friendly and made a huge effort when i stumbled with my school french! The place itself is really charming- it isnt ultra modern, but i found it really cute and old fashioned but clean. The lifts are very retro and the rooms are clean and quiet- and actually very spacious for...

From start to finish, the experiences at this hotel is sublime! Hotel staffs especially a guy at Front desk and Bellman are very helpful and friendly. Not only the exceptional staffs, the outstanding classic design, wide variety of breakfast offering and perfect location made my stay memorable. I would surely return and recommend this hotel to everyone I know!

I've stayed here quite a few times over the years as I often travel to Paris on business. In fact I've reviewed it before and felt compelled to do so again because I always enjoy my stay here. Having used a number of other hotels in the vicinity of similar class I can definitely say that this is my favourite....

Our room in this hotel had two good features: it was quiet and had a very comortable bed. Other than that it was not very clean, the bathroom door would not shut and it had peeling paint on the ceiling. Breakfast was good in a very pleasant dining room. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

We recently stayed at the Millennium Hotel Paris for 4 nights. We had a very pleasant experience. We always found the staff very helpful, friendly and courteous. Everyone's english was very good. The location of the hotel was superb. Very centrally located and just steps away from 2 metro lines. The rooms were decorated in an old parisian style. The...

Now it's just shabby dirty and ill managed. If you add that it boasts 4 stars and it's accordingly priced the only appropriate comment is: ghastly. A great hall, the allure of past grandeur still visible can't make up for a dirty room, powdery carpeting, broken plaster, an overall stink of sewage lingering everywhere, an appalling breakfast with one of...

Dear dadego, Thank you for posting your review on Tripadvisor. It is most unfortunate that we were not able to meet your expectations, and for that, I am truly sorry. I was in this hotel recently. When I arrived to a confirmed reservation they had upgraded my room and lowered the price. Obviously I was very pleased. During my stay I required some urgent help in arranging to be picked up for a tour. The front desk, specifically Eli, took control of the situation for me and solved my problem...

Centrally located, Millennium Hotel offers good access to the central areas of Paris but the hotel itself is desperately in need of a renovation. Maybe that is one of the quirks of older Parisian hotels but when you are staying for business reasons you want the shower to work properly, not sleep in a room that looks like you might...

I stayed here on the 28/29th Sept 3013. When we arrived at 3 pm our room was not ready! We were offered a complimentary drink and kept waiting for another 30 minutes - the idea was to see Paris not drink a beer in a dark and dreary bar. When we were told our room was ready we were also...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
