Very, very, very bad! I have been to many 5 and 4 star hotels in my life but i have never been in such a hotel as Timhotel Tour Montparnase, i occupied room no.406 the shower floods the bathroom, they say their bedding is high end while it's not! also the room has stinky smell as they try to hide...

We only had an afternoon in Paris on our way elsewhere in France and wanted to be near Montparnasse station for the early departure the next day. This fitted the bill perfectly: rooms aren't huge but they do have tea/coffee, good TV and free wifi. It's also well-located for some great bars and restaurants nearby. Receptionists very friendly too. Would...

The hotel si very nice. Room and bathroom are small, but perfect if you need a base to rest while discovering Paris (you don't come to Paris to spend the whole day in the hotel, do you?!... ^_^...). Breakfast with limited choice, yet very good and complete. Excellent position, convenient for public transportation (3 lines of Metro in 5-minute distance...

The hotel has a great location very close to the Tour Montparnasse and close to 2 different metro lines, and many restaurants, theatres and coffee shops. Nicely furnished and decorated with great pictures and very colourful . The rooms are small but clean.

It was a great stay. Perfect location. Room small but comfortable, clean and delicious breakfast. The hotel in general is tastefully decorated. Friendly staff too, but could be more flexible with the check in time when rooms are available.

Arrived on New Year's Eve, put into a room that was not big enough to swing a hamster. To soften the blow my wife and I were offered a free breakfast the next day, even that was disappointing. The hotel had no atmosphere, lifeless and bland. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere. There are a number of nice hotels...

I really liked how the room was set up: pompous linen and curtains in dark red, christal chandelier, stucco work around the ceiling, a nice wooden table and a comfortable armchair. There was an additional little work desk, and what I appreciated much: a little bottle of water and a kettle with a tea and coffee. This is what i...

The hotel was in a great location. We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect spot for us. We were in walking distance to many places and just down the street from a few metro stations. The was helpful and spoke English. The room was comfortable and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. The only...

The rooms are very small but to be fair you spend most of your time sightseeing and only hit the room to rest your weary heads. We didn't opt for the breakfast as there are so many cafe's on the same street that I would recommend that you visit them. Good Location for the Montparnasse Bienvenue Metro Station. A vibrant...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
