Staff was friendly and very helpful - Though I do speak French, they would answer me in English / French as they knew it was my first language.
I usually travel solo on business - this trip was biz/pleasure with a male friend.
Service at the lobby was polite, however they were not reliable to act on some requests.

No, not even a kettle. The tea making facilities are in reception. There are only plastic cups, so we bought mugs to use. We also bought our own breakfast from a local supermarket - we were told by other guests that the hotel breakfast was sparse and not worth the ten euros they paid for it. I took my own coffee and tea too, and we bought a carton of milk. The coffee and tea in reception is of very poor quality.
