If you are in paris to explore thing this hotel have the ultimate location. You can walk to most of the attractions and if you need the metro it´s in minutes. This hotel also offers a great breakfast buffé and this is not easy to find in paris.

This hotel is in a great central location on a small side street. The rooms are pretty basic but mine was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good for a Paris hotel of this standard (though if I was here on holiday I'd be finding a nice cafe). Internet access was good. Staff at front desk are very pleasant and smiley....

5 of us stayed here for 1 night & all 5 of us had very different rooms. 1 on the front was massive but a very odd shape, 1 was next to the lift, noisy & hot. Mine was at the back, small but quiet & comfortable. Fantastic location & very good breakfast. Staff were very helpful & everything was...

We stayed one night, the staff were great, and could not have done anymore, even upgrading from a superior room to the best they had. The hotel was clean and even though the room faced the street it was very quiet. I would recomend this hotel to anyone. The complimentary drinks servrd in the lobby were also a grat touch.

this hotel is a bad tourist trap. you would really be taking your chances (or being desperate) by staying here. the website talks of the hotel being recently renovated but in fact it is in the completely dilapidated state. the staff come from the faulty towers series - trying to appear nice and ignorant of the glaring faults but perfect...

Although the staff was very nice and friendly (especially Massi) The accommodations are in need of some rehabilitation. There was a very bad odor in our room and we were given a room right off the street which was very noisy almost all night long. The next night we sacrificed some fresh air and shut the window so as not to...

Just returned from a lovely, weekend in Paris , staying at the Astra Opera Hotel. My friend and I arrived on Thursday afternoon and were asked if we would like to wait a little longer and have a free upgrade superior twin room. We agreed, left our luggage and went exploring (shopping , - ideally located for Printemps Dept Store!) and...

I had to spent 4 nights in January 2013 for business. Arrived on Sunday night with the temperature outside at minus 7 so it was nice to enter a warm cosy room. Room itself is a decent size, bathroom is a little small and you can smell a faint aroma of sewage when in the bathroom, not a big deal...

Great staff. Massey, Fausto and Luis were exceptional. Rooms were much larger than expected. Very close to 2 metro subway stations. Very centrally located in a beautiful area. Having the toilet separate from bathroom was a big hit for us (family of 4). Free wifi. Don't have breakfast in the hotel. Too expensive when compared to the various restaurants close...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
