We stayed in a three-person room for a "girls trip" to Paris. A hotel room with three separate beds is rare in Paris and we were happy to find Hotel Paris Rivoli. The room was definitely tight for three beds and three adults, but for the price we paid, we didn't mind. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom...

Stayed here for two nights whilst on business in Paris. I was given a complimentary upgrade which was very welcome as this meant I got a room with a balcony and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English which made check in and check out very easy. The road outside is very busy so can be a...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during our first trip to Paris. At check in, we were warmly greeted and were given a nice run down of the area including some maps that highlighted area attractions/bus/metro/etc. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We had a room on the fifth floor, which from reading other reviews, looks to...

This hotel is in the best location in Le Marais. It's located on a major street and is convenient to the main subway line that takes you to Champs Elysees/Arc de Triomphe and Louvre. The bus stop right across the street takes you straight to Eiffel Tower. Le Marais is an awesome area of Paris with lots of restaurants (all...

Wonderful hotel mostly beyond Marios the daytime reception clerk. He gave us so much information before we had a chance to ask. He gave us a late check out so we had a chance to get organized before our flight home. The room is small but the washroom spacious. Small fridge in room. Breakfast adequate. Totally central location. Walking distance...

I've stayed here 4 times now and sorry to say was disappointed this time. Though last September the lift was not working one day when returned to hotel with shopping and had to walk up. Started okay, though elevator was out when we left for dinner and had to walk down 7 flights of sometime dark winding stairs around service...

I spent many hours researching Paris accommodation and areas to stay. I was delighted with this choice. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful with suggestions of what to do, where to eat and where to explore. I have visited Paris many times and stayed in different areas, Le Merais is now my favourite. The hotel location is perfect,...

First the good points. The hotel is in an excellent location, and within a short walk of the St Paul Metro station, with lots of street café's, bars and banks in the vicinity. The hotel provides free wifi which worked well and was quite quick. The superior rooms include a better quality bathroom, shower robes and a kettle. The bed...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days in August 2016. The location is great situated in the Marais district and close to 2 metro stops. We walked most places but to get too the Eiffel Tower quickly take the number 69 bus that stops right across the street from the hotel. The room was small which is the norm...

I tell people that are just visiting Paris for a week or less to find a conveniently located, comfortable, clean hotel that you can expect to just shower and sleep in. This is perfect for that. (although my girlfriend thought the walls were a little too thin). The location is great for getting to all the major sight-seeing attractions and...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
