This was a charming hotel with more than enough space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers for a short stay. The rooms were very clean. We had a tiny kitchen but no kettle or cafetiere, and not enough crockery for 4. To be fair we...More
We spent six days in Paris and Residence Henri IV was perfect for our family. Great localization: quiet street, near from Notre Dame, Sorbonne University, Quartier Latin... and the Metro. The rooms are beautiful, big enough (even for our 3 teenagers), clean, confortable. Reception 24...More
The Hotel Henri IV definitely lived up to our expectations.
Hotel staff were always courteous and only too happy to assist us.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend time in Paris at a rate that doesn't break the bank.

Excellent little hotel. Friendly staff, decent size room, comfortable bed, and pillows not too bad for France! Good bathroom and all clean. Situation was excellent - in the Latin Quarter but in a quiet cul-de-sac. We walked everywhere - 7 mins to Notre Dame -...More
Great hotel for families, with main bedroom and seperate sitting room for kids with foldout bed. Kitchenette useful. Close to all amenities, including a child friendly park the kids can walk to. Great parisienne decor and wonderfully attentive staff. Our second stay at Henry IV...More

The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During
the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

Yes, we work with a dry cleaning/laundry service. You can leave your clothes on the morning (before 10:00 am) and have them cleaned on the evening. There is a form to fill with price list which is available in every room. If you need a self service laundromat, there are two of them in neighborhood at less than 5 minutes walk. There is also a complete laundry service close by where you can get your clothes cleaned in one days time.

The closest is Mauber-Mutualité, but it is not the only one that can serve you in the area. I think it's worth mentioning that bus 63, which is about 25 meters (very, very near) will take you to many tourist points while you *see* not only a good part of Saint Germain de Près, but the Seine River, the Trocadero and Eiffel tower. The 63 is possibly the best bus line to get to important places while you see the beauty of Paris, and not the Paris metro walls. I tottally recommend it.
