We liked the room with quality bathroom (rain shower), good heating and enough space. Only strange policy to ask for payment upon arrival instead of scanning the credit card like most hotels do. Also choice of international TV channels limited (even though this is specifically marketed) and wlan quite slow. This is why we give 4/5.

We stayed at the hotel for the Marathon weekend April 2017. From the moment we arrived we could not have had better service. The rooms are fantastic, recently refurbished and very clean. The breakfast is so, so good. Simple, good quality and everything you want for a day exploring Paris. The staff were so helpful and laid on 'an early'...

The Chat Noir decor and art set this hotel apart from all others. Easy access to Montmartre shopping, entertainment, sight-seeing, dinners and bars. Metro access a few steps away to explore the rest of Paris.

We liked this hotel for the location, as my sister-in-law lived about 15 minutes away. We knew it was in the "red light" district so we expected the stores and other establishments so we weren't surprised. Room was good, small but all you need is a bed & bathroom. Loved the shower!!! The AC wasn't turned on so we had...

Good afternoon, we are really sorry of what happened with our breakfast buffet. You had a "room only" rate and were supposed to charge the full price breakfast even if you take only a cup of coffee (we can't check this for every guest). I am really sorry for this misunderstanding and i understand your disappointment. I renew my apologies...

We have been charged more than we were supposed to and nobody could tell us why. We had such a rude treatment at check out that I really think this hotel should be classified as a 1 star hotel, not 4. Unbelievable. Very bad experience.

Good afternoon, i already have explanations with you by emails about that exceptional case. I renew my apologies but want to tell that you explained me as well that your entire stay was perfect until your check out and the issue with your airport transportation. We also offer you the rose petals set up we have done for you on...

Stayed at le chat noir hotel for a long weekend break. Staff very friendly, àttentive and obliging. Room was cosy and clean on the 5th foor overlooking the boulevard de Clichy. A two minute walk to the moulin rouge for our dinner and show -a must if you visit Paris. The hotel is ideally situated for walking to the historic...

Hotel is situated in Blanche metro station about 100 meters walk. Nearby a lot of sex shop which not good for family stay. The people will invite you to watch sex dance show especially you are alone. The room is average, no refrigerator, quite dusty & the wall is too thin. Even you can hear next door sound. However the...

Despite the cold, the hotel was an interesting place to stay. Sandwiched between a strip/adult club and the historic Le Chat Noir restaurant. i knew the neighbor hood would be interesting as it was near the base of Sacre Couer and Mommatre

My wife brought me to Paris as a birthday surprise and, when we got here - given that the place is slap-bang in the middle of the red light district - I thought she'd booked us into a brothel by accident! Access is via a buzzer, the lobby is all black, shiny marble and reception is on the first floor....

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
