Wow, not sure where any of the positive reviews are coming from - had a truly terrible experience at this hotel this month. First and foremost, the look of the hotel is really subpar compared to most in Paris - so outdated and old fashioned and not in a good way. They really fail to keep up with other hotels...

The Prince de Condé is a charming boutique hotel in a building that goes back to the 16th century. There are only two rooms on each floor, one wall is of bare stone, the other with colorful cloth wallpaper. The furnishing is minimalist, but comfortable. As in many small European hotels the bed and writing table take up much of...

I booked this hotel last minute using British Airways miles for a week's stay. The location could not be better and it compares to other hotels in Paris with a higher rating. it is very small, but it has a lift, it is clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom was updated and roomy. I would stay here again....

One night stay in the middle of Paris. Had to fly out early in the morning and we wanted a place central to everything. This is what I would label as a quaint boutique hotel with a limited number of rooms. A bit on the small side and very cozy, but it worked out very well for us. A bit...

Great location on left bank,. close to Notre Dame and short walk over bridge to Louvre. On a quiet street but just a short walk to many bars / restaruants . Quaint hotel and rooms ok for size. Breakfast was fine and served in a lower wine cellar type room. Would recommend.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. I had read some reviews about how some of the staff members "acted" like they didn't speak English. I have to say, in the 2 nights we spent there, we dealt with several staff members and all of them were so incredibly kind and spoke very good English. This hotel is incredibly spacious for being...

Hotel was situated 5 minutes walk from Notre Dame. You can take the metro anywhere for 10 euros and it gives you 10 one way tickets. Otherwise you spend i think it was 1.40 or 1.80 euros per ticket one way. We didnt have breakfast included because theres heaps of resturants around. Their breakfast ia 15 euros a person. Hotel...

This is a great location! It's easy to walk to several Metro stops and many local attractions. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and ready to help. Jean Marc welcomed us home every evening with a smile and all kinds of help.

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
