This small hotel has a great location. It is about 2 blocks in from the river and about 2 blocks from the Metro on St. Germain. There are many lively restaurants in the area. Best of all are the staff at the front desk - 24 hours a day. Celine in particular was a great resource for getting directions, planning...

Absolutely charming little boutique hotel in a terrific neighborhood with lots of galleries, shops and restaurants on the "quieter" part of the Rue de Seine. There are two rooms on each floor, so each room faces the street. Room size is a wee bit bigger than what you'd expect to find in the middle of Paris. Pillows and bed were...

We spent seven marvelous nights here and enjoyed every moment of it. I had already become acquainted with Celine through emails and she quickly became a friend, making Paul and me feel very welcome along with the rest of the staff. We were able to check into our room early, and it was lovely...only two rooms per floor, nice size...

We booked the hotel on hotels.com based on the location. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the train stop, Louvre, Notre Dame and other attractions. The hotel is tucked into this neighborhood with art galleries, small grocers, and restaurants. The room was clean and a good size. It had a blow dryer, tea pot, and basic amenities. Breakfast is 15...

We realy enjoyed our 5 nights in this beautiful decorated hotel. Our room was on the fifth floor (only 2 rooms in each floor). With its fabric wallpapers, little balcony, tea and coffee facilities and nice wooden table along the wall - It was perfect for us. Location in elegant quiet Rue De Siene (3 minutes from Rue Buci with...

This is my first review on trip advisor and after spending 4 lovely days in Paris I felt like praising this lovely hotel in the heart of the city. I went to Paris with my partner and wanted to experience a very french style hotel with loads of character and thats exactly what Prince de Conde provided us. The rooms...

First and foremost - when going to Europe...anywhere in Europe...do not expect to stay in the largest hotel room you've ever stayed in. It's not what they do. Everyone tends to comment on how small the rooms are, so when traveling, just expect a small room. That said, Prince de Conde was great! This boutique hotel was such a refreshing...

Even though the staff was nice, I found my room not clean. I stayed for one night, arrived late and had to leave early, so I didn't complain, but it was disappointing. The hotel is cozy, but definitely not a 4 star hotel. Location is great. Room was cold!

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
