True that the hotel is located very close to the metro. Also true that almost every 5th building in the neighbourhood is a hotel, so there's plenty to choose from. There is nothing about this particular hotel that will make me choose it next time I come to Paris or make me recommend it to my friends. Initially we've booked...

To be honest I checked in late just had a few hours sleep and checked out without a breakfast so I haven't had the full experience. I had a tiny room under the roof, it was very hot and noisy, I could hear at least 4 or 5 air con units. The bathroom was completely impractical, small with a bath...

We spent three nights here recently and found it to be a perfectly located Hotel with lovely, well appointed rooms. The staff were all pleasant and Receptionists particularly helpful when confirming bookings etc. Continental breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay there again.

We'd been to many hotels of all types of quality and price range. This Hotel is inexpensive (cheap). It's situated in the Opera District (not in a touristy area) with nearby markets for bread, groceries and wine. It's near a metro station and Starbucks which is convenient. The rooms are average or smallish(just like most hotels in Paris). The staff...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
