The location of the hotel is great. There are some great bars around and of course the Louvre is just down the road. But the hotel itself was very bog-standard. Really nothing special. The bathroom didn't have a shower curtain, the minibar wasn't stocked up and the lady at the desk was a bit clueless about directions to the main...

If I were to write my full experience, you would think I am writing an essay in disaster!! In summary,I booked this hotel approximately six months before the travel date and spent six nights there, and yet never got the type of rooms that I booked. My family was split up on different floors. The receptionist doubled as locksmith but...

I really like how I could walk to lots of great places from this centrally located hotel. The breakfast was good and the bar at night was a quiet place to unwind and have a few drinks after a day of sightseeing. Internet and wi-fi made contact with home easy. The concierge was a nice guy; he'd been there a...

This hotel has an optimization for a short stay traveler. Because it has a great centered location in Paris easily accessible from RER station (Les Halles). Just some minutes walking distance from Louvre Museum, Concorde Square and Champ Elysees. You can even walk to Eiffel or Notre Dame less than an hour. Since Paris Hotels are so expensive, if you...

This is an older hotel central to a lot of attractions. I was told that next year renovations would be starting. At this time, it is quaint and right next to a bar which was only loud on the weekend. The staff is quite helpful, much to our relief as we had a problem (not with them) that they tried...

I would not recommend to anyone. Apart from being really well centralized this hotel offers nothing. Our air conditioning unit was faulty. Shower handle broken, the room was that dirty we tried opening the window for fresh air. The courtyard which is the size of a shoe box was that dirty me and my partnet could not sleep. We complained...

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
