Hotel is quaint and comfortable. Bathroom is updated. Breakfast bar had the basics to get your day started. Location was very convenient - only a 5 minute walk to metro. There are quite a few cafes and brassieres in the area

We booked a jr. suite which was perfect for my wife and I and our daugher, who had her own bed in a separate room. Breakfast was excellent, with good variety and fresh squeezed OJ. Location is ideal -- close to a couple metro lines and an easy walk to Centre Pompidou, Notre Dame, and the Picasso Museum. Hotel has...

Perfectly located in the Marais for the Metro, Louvre, Picasso Museum and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Very traditional Parisian hotel on a quiet street but within easy walking distance to major sites. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel.

My wife booked us a room in this very quaint old hotel. It is centrally located just blocks away from Ile de la Cite. The staff were very friendly and the room was quite unique. There were two twin beds on the main floor and a queen size bed was situated in a loft, reached by a small stairway that...

We had a wonderful stay. The charm and authenticity of the hotel was great. The room was large and the view was lovely. The staff went above and beyond to help us out. The French breakfast in the wine cellar was perfect, down to the fresh orange juice machine. Loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!

this hotel is central and close to Hotel De Ville. Rooms are quirky and basic but perfect for a short stay in France. The staff are so helpful and warm to all. I would stay here again, gladly. it is not luxurious but if you want a base that is central and you appreciate old fashioned charm, you will love...

The hotel is tucked away on a little side street in the Marais, very close to the Seine and to the old Jewish neighborhood. The building appears to be quite old and the decor is eclectic. Our room was solid red, which bothered me less than I thought it might. I guess it grew on me. Features: Front desk staff:...

On our first visit to to the city we booked this hotel in a very good center of town. A basic hotel with few amenities. The first room we took was too small. I upgraded to room 34. A Comfortable and quiet stay. - a 10 minute walk to the subway and buses. Everywhere shops pubs and croissants, coffee and...

Clean room, very clean bathroom, quiet halls. What more could one want? We had to leave before breakfast in their cave. But few hotels have caves! I like the ancient beams in the lounge as well as the small lending library and daily newspapers.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
