Great Location. Just a block to the Louvre. Just a little farther to the Opera. Metro stops are a reasonable distance. RER at the Orsay (for Versailles) is convenient. The RER for deGaulle airport is a bit farther, but still walkable with suitcases and 2 teen daughters in tow. The quad room has a well working A/C. However after taking...

We were disappointed with the hotel; the description of the amenities on the official website was untrue. The lift is on the 2nd floor and hence we had to lug our baggage using the spiral staircase. Despite that, the lift is very small and does not stop at every floor. The staff did not offer any assistance to help us...

I spent 3 nights in early May. Even with the major construction work that was going on it was quiet. However, I did have an interior room (with an immaculately clean bathroom) away from the hallway where the work was being done. The breakfast was 8 euros and included a croissant, a small baguet, butter & jam, coffee or tea...

The location is totally perfect. If you have a room like mine and you keep the windows open, well, it could be quite noisy, but this is the only fault I can find in this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room and ensuite bathroom were clean, there was even a little (very little!) elevator. Plus, they were very...

This hotel couldn't have a better location; it's just steps from the Louvre and other Paris attractions, plus a Metro station. And the price was right in a very expensive city. Unfortunately, there were a number of drawbacks. The beds were uncomfortable and the staff were minimally helpful, sometimes downright unpleasant. The room smelled and felt musty. In addition, our...

The hotel is near Pyramides stations. Once you find Rue Saint-Roch it's not hard to find. We arrived early and there was no problem checking in. If you are on an upper floor, you really need to ride the elevator. It's the smallest I've seen. Room enough for two if you've had carnal knowledge of the person with whom you're...

We stayed here in July of 2004 and it was a truly miserable experience. The rooms were dingy and grimy. The only good thing is the location-which is terrific-but not terrific enough to book a room at any rate. Avoid it like the plague.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel four times over the past three years and we will be back! Excellent value for money and you can't get a better location in Paris. Rooms are basic but very clean and secure. Staff are customer serviced and always welcoming.

Two blocks from the Louvre. Lots of atmosphere. Nice, helpful clerks. Good price. Exactly what we wanted. We requested a 1st floor suite and they responded immdiatedly. I recommend this hotel. If you want a fancy, American-style hotel, you should look elsewhere. The building is not new, but the rooms are well kept and the service is quite good. The...

Spent 8 nights in August, in a triple room. The location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the Louvre and Tuleries. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definately be my first choice for a hotel when I return (which will be when the euro is at a more...
