Location is great, walking distance to many of the major sights and the metro just around the corner. Many good restaurants and cafés in the area. The room was really romantic, quiet and clean, even though it was small - but this is Paris so...More
We were privileged to have vacationed at Hotel La Perle during the last week of July and enjoyed our stay immensely. Last year we stayed for three nights at their "sister" hotel (Hotel Luxemburg Parc) but this time we opted for a hotel closer to...More
This hotel was great and exceeded expectations. It is very close within walking distance to many attractions. Also, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was so sweet, helpful and friendly. They helped us with routes, baggage, any questions and were always sweet...More
La Perle is a three star hotel with very good value for money in Paris. Staff is very helpfull, rooms quiet and confortable and most of all in the center of St Germain boulevard. Lots of metro station near , nice restaurants and good shopping.
We had a great stay at Hotel La Perle. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of St Germain; a stone throw from great shops and restaurants. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, a good size, quiet and air conditioned. The hotel staff...More
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

The duplex is entered from the garden courtyard attached to the breakfast area. There is absolutely no issues with security with any part of the hotel. The courtyard is only used for breakfast. It is a quite oasis during the day and evening. Can't answer about the windows or two stories. The street outside is relatively narrow with little traffic and very little noise through the night. I would recommend this hotel.

"Choose one of the larger rooms which have seating for two (sofa), like a mini retreat with part curtain."
